My son, my buddy, my ball player - Life and baseball are exact. You go through both playing defense and offense, you’re going to fail and make an error, strike out and foul some off, you will make some crazy catches and great throws, hit ground balls, pop flies, line drives and the beautiful home run. You’ll have to run to get ahead of the ball and life. You’re gonna sweat and be sore, you’re gonna laugh and cry…. Always remember to breath and look around you. Just see the fans of your team, see the ones who aren’t rooting for you, and keep playing. Don’t be afraid to strike out, and when it gets hard don’t quit, don’t be scared of that 3-2 count. Look to swing, don’t be afraid to swing at life’s curveballs and fastballs because you may strike out. When you do strike out, run to the dug out grab your glove and go play defense get your outs and bat again. Life is the same. Play the game and remember to have fun. I’ll always be your biggest fan son. 1-4-3 by @ttemple90

He wants to be like “ Coach Michael”. We will miss you and congratulations on the job and your future in Boston. More than a game for Sawyer and we will always remember you buddy.
