The JD&AV Groms Quest session with Mumbai Surf Club brought together young, passionate ocean lovers ready to build real skills, confidence, and respect for the water.

Under the guidance of @isasurfing coach @jehandriver , these groms learned ocean awareness, paddling fundamentals, paddling techniques, safety rules, and the mindset of becoming responsible future sup’ers.

From first waves to first wins — this is how we grow India’s next generation of surfers. Stoked for the energy, the grit, and the smiles.

Tamil Nadu Surfing Association meets Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Thiru R. Rajendran ✨🌊

The Tamil Nadu Surfing Association had the honor of meeting the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Thiru R. Rajendran, Government of Tamil Nadu, to express our gratitude for his continued support towards surfing in the state.

We briefed him on the upcoming Covelong Classic Surf & SUP National Championship (18–21 September 2025, Kovalam, Tamil Nadu) and shared details on the competition format.

The Hon’ble Minister extended his due support for the event, recognizing the role of surfing in promoting Tamil Nadu as a global destination for sports, adventure, and coastal tourism.

We are deeply grateful for his encouragement as we work towards hosting one of India’s premier surfing events under the aegis of @sfisurfing, in partnership with @ttgroupglobal, @media.iccsai, and @surfturfindia

India’s surfing team made history by edging out Chinese Taipei and China in a fierce contest to bag the silver medal at the Maruhaba Cup, a prestigious event in the Asian Surfing Championships 2024, held at the stunning Thulusdhoo island, Maldives.

Just a day after achieving its first-ever Asian Games quotas in surfing, the Indian team - Kamali P, Ajeesh Ali, Srikanth D, and Sanjay Selvamani - claimed victory in Heat 2 of the semi-finals with a score of 32.16. In the finals, they showcased extraordinary talent, finishing second with a score of 24.13, outpacing Chinese Taipei (23.93) and China (22.10). Japan secured the gold with 58.40.

With immense pride, we share that 5 out of these 7 phenomenal athletes hail from TT Group’s surf athlete development program. This monumental achievement underscores our commitment to shaping India’s surfing legacy and fuels our passion to further empower young athletes across the nation. Here’s to making more waves and setting new records!
