As I close this chapter to begin a new one, I thank god for guiding me, showing me what was meant for me, and leading me to my purpose. My time at East Carolina University has come to an end, filled with countless life lessons, trials, sleepless nights, and great memories with people I’ve met during my years of studies that I am forever grateful for.

This is just the beginning and not the end. Still more to come and more to accomplish, with that I am not finished yet 🩺. I will continue to sprout the seed that was given to me, as an aspiring black woman in medicine furthering my studies I know that there is more to come.

I thank god for all who have believed in me more than I believed in myself, this includes my professors, supervisors, my mentoring nurse practitioner of orthopedics, family, and friends who stayed up late nights with me in the library.

All the hard work will pay off as I continue to strive for excellence. On December 13th, 2024 I will receive my Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health.

All glory to God,
Taylor M. Griffin 💐
