almost 3 years ago I came to morocco for the first time with a one-month plan and no ticket back home. I guess everyone who has experienced it knows how it goes. when a place calls, you just start flowing with it.

I ended up staying for seven months, traveling the whole country and this time was one of the most magical and transformative seasons of my life. It changed the way I looked at life and even the way I looked at myself.

I left but somehow the more I traveled, the more I realized morocco had touched something in me that nowhere else did. every new country made me appreciate this one even more, until I realize I really wanted to come back.

more grounded on who I am, what I desire, where I came from, and what this place means on my personal path, I choose to be back here, to build a new chapter where my soul was choosing since the beginning to stay, the place that first made me feel truly at home away from home.

cheers to this beautiful country that constantly brings me back to a flow state. where life feels softer, slower, more intentional. almost as if the ordinary becomes a little more magical. With Its imperfect beauty. Its colors. Its doors. Its tiles. It’s light. It’s people. slowly I feel it becoming part of who i am 🤎 by @ttropicaliar

another self made tattoo,
but this time,
something with a lot of meaning to me 💫

I love the feeling that I am connected to everything and that we are not separate at all to the source.

on my travels I started to feel a deep connection with the universe and it’s coincidences and signs, that’s why I did that tattoo and decided to bring it to my portfolio.

angel numbers are repeating number sequences (like 111, 222 etc) believed to be subtle messages from the universe or your guides. they show up in everyday moment.

on clocks, receipts, or license plates. inviting you to pause, reflect, and realign. be aware of your surroundings etc.

they’re gentle reminders that you’re supported, guided, and moving through cycles of change and growth all the time.

here is a resume of its meanings:

111 — alignment, awakening
222 — trust, balance
333 — creativity, guidance
444 — protection, stability
555 — change, transformation
666 — realign, release fear
777 — intuition, luck
888 — abundance, completion
999 — endings, new chapter
000 — potential, new beginnings

living in this little surf town in brazil was something really special. It’s where I first felt confident to start tattooing.

surrounded by wild nature, slow days, and such a strong sense of community. almost every day, a friend would knock on my door asking for a tattoo, and somehow it all grew so naturally from there. one of those unforgettable chapters of life. taken in Itacare, Bahia, Brasil by @ttropicaliar

I was traveling for a long time when I found myself in Pai, Thailand — November 2024. No plans, no expectations, but from the very first moment something in me softened. I felt inspired in a way I hadn’t in a long time, so I decided to stay for a month and write a chapter there.

I fell in love with the nature, the people, the sense of community, the simplicity of life. Days felt slower, fuller. Riding my bike everywhere, surrounded by artists, by creative souls just being. And I loved this version of myself. I was painting, dancing, singing, writing… playing like a kid again.

Creating for the joy of it. Feeling happy, free, and deeply present.

That’s what I find so special about slow traveling — you don’t just visit a place, you live a version of your life there. You create a rhythm, a routine, a sense of belonging, even if it’s temporary.

In Pai, mine looked like this:

– twice a week, I’d go to a small local coffee shop, drink Thai tea, listen to music, and draw for hours into the night
– and at least once a week, I’d escape to this smoothie spot in the middle of nowhere, overlooking a quiet lake… just sitting there, painting watercolors with no pressure, no expectations

Just creating. Just being.

And somewhere in those slow afternoons and beautiful nights, something clicked.

I started imagining myself tattooing. It was always a distant thought during my architecture years, but it didn’t seem to fit into the reality of big cities and 9–5 life. Pai showed me a different way of looking at it, and suddenly I could see it clearly — what my style could be, my flow, how it would feel.

So when I went back to Brazil, I decided to try.
