It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Ryder Harrington, a member of the Fall 2024 Pledge Class.
Ryder was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose kindness and presence touched countless lives. From the moment he joined our brotherhood, he brought a light that was impossible to ignore. Ryder had a rare ability to truly enjoy life to make people laugh, to make moments feel bigger, and to make ordinary days unforgettable. If anyone embodied what it meant to live fully and love deeply, it was Ryder.
His character and genuine spirit made our chapter stronger and our friendships deeper. The energy he carried, the joy he spread, and the way he made everyone feel welcome are things we will never forget. He made the world around him better simply by being in it.
During this incredibly difficult time, we ask that everyone keep the Harrington family in their thoughts and prayers. Let us come together as brothers and as a community to honor Ryder’s life, support one another, and carry forward the light he brought into our lives. Additionally there is a go fund me link in our bio to help support the Harrington family.
On 03/02/2026 we will be having a candle light vigil to honor Ryder at 8:00pm.
1410 Orlando Ave
Ryder will forever remain a part of this brotherhood. His memory will live on in our hearts. Until we meet again Ryder No. 1521

Carter Arrott, a Red Raider since birth, has been named the 100th homecoming king of Texas Tech University.
His family’s fingerprints are evident on our chapter, lodge, and pristine legacy. His grandfather Allan Adams, father Brian Arrott, as well as uncle and former chapter president Bryan Adams all represented the letters with honor before him. His mother and grandmother have shown the same dedication through their selfless service as house moms.
Today, we recognize Carter for a new campus-wide accomplishment and his ongoing positive impact. This new leadership role is added to a list of high praises. He has formerly served as student body vice president, IFC executive leader, Mortar Board member, Scovell Business Leadership Program student, and President’s Select Ambassador.
A legacy of leadership that runs deep, and Carter carries it forward with humility and pride. We celebrate not just a king, but a brother whose impact will outlast any crown. taken in Texas Tech University by @ttubeta](https://s2.imginn.com/564511456_18509874919064966_125024396379975517_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/564511456_18509874919064966_125024396379975517_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p1290x1290_tt6&_nc_cat=107&ig_cache_key=Mzc0MjYxMzM3MzIzMDAxNzIwNQ%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTQ0MC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=OOqHgZaFKJwQ7kNvwHWt179&_nc_oc=AdqUQiDFhWn-xqLTQsIUQ_it8sjIL15ISWxq-peaDYoOuttMv7EI--Tc8Q0J2t1Wh_eTZbYxcBGVVHYfPjuSiVnR&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=siOX_TSCo-6qku4rY3QXcg&_nc_ss=7a22e&oh=00_AQMAWmyagcwZU6hgHlKZwLe2FLVfdz9P08J3d4HXivv2Uw&oe=6AD8A787)

In honor of the five Betas who lost their lives on September 11, our brothers ran the flights of stairs at Jones AT&T Stadium alongside firefighters and police officers from the Lubbock community. Two of our participating brothers also serve in ROTC.
Today, we remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and stand united in remembrance. We will never forget.
