Last week, we had the opportunity of hosting four Personal Financial Planning alumni, Christie Williams, Derek Childs, Devin DeLapp, and Madison J. Wallace before the start of Opportunity Days. These special guests shared experiences on their careers, the culture at their firms, and advice on how to best prepare for Opportunity Days. We are so grateful as an association to be able to engage and ask questions to such successful individuals, we’d like to thank Lee Financial, HFS Wealth Management, SFMG Wealth Advisors, and BentOak Capital for coming to Lubbock and for continuously supporting us students, pushing us to our limits and shaping us into the future of Personal Financial Planning. taken in Texas Tech University by @ttupfpa

First event of the semester and we had over 50 students show up! WHAT A GREAT TURN OUT!! Next week we will be having two meetings: On Tuesday, September 8th, Vanguard Opportunities- We will be having two special guests from Vanguard who are alumni of the PFP program. They will be coming to speak to us about the great opportunities they offer, their experiences, and more. On Friday, September 11th, Opportunity Days Prep Rally- Get ready for Opportunity Days!
