We’re proud to give a #FamousPhi shoutout to Hudson Westbrook, a Texas Tech Phi who has found success in the country music industry.

Hudson’s new album 'Texas Forever' releases tomorrow, marking an exciting milestone in his rising career. This past weekend, Hudson made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry!

Earlier this summer, he was pictured at the Nashville Superspeedway alongside fellow Phi Delt alumni Brian Wilson, Penske crew chief, and Will Harris, advancement officer for the Phi Delta Theta Foundation.

Congratulations, Hudson—we look forward to what’s next! #PhiDelt #PhiDeltaTheta by @ttuphidelt

This past weekend we got to celebrate Founders Day in addition to our Dads weekend. A weekend where we can reflect and celebrate our past and those who came before us. As well as, look forward and discuss what is to come in the future.

Sunday morning we took the time to go visit the National Ranching Heritage Center. A great addition to the Lubbock community for the purposes of teaching the youth the basics of agricultural heritage.

That night we enjoyed a dinner together as alumni, active members, and their fathers. During the ceremonies we pinned our Silver legionnaires in recognition of their 25 year membership with Phi Delta Theta. Additionally, we also pinned our Gold Legionaries in celebration of their 50 years of membership with Phi Delta Theta.

We had numerous scholarship winners that were announced at the dinner as well. These chosen actives are leaders not only in the fraternity but in the classroom and community as well. We look forward to another year of success and prosperity. Thank you alumni and fathers for attending this weekend! taken in Texas Tech Phi Delta Theta by @ttuphidelt

Yesterday the Texas Epsilon Phikeias and some active members were happy to lend a hand to the south endzone construction crew. They worked for a few hours picking up trash around the stadium and neighboring parking lots to get everything ready for tomorrow’s big game. Alumni Mark Fewin has done an incredible job with the renovations and we as a chapter could not be more proud that so many Texas E alumni (such as Cody Campbell and John Sellers) made this amazing project happen.
