Wanted to share my designs from ENS 410!
The goal was to create interactive signage to inform two age ranges of children about wetland dynamics and energy flow, pertaining to Florida’s science standards. 6 x 8 ft mixed media on vinyl- inspired by the song champagne coast. 🍾🧡🌅This piece went through a lot of iterations but overall is meant to reflect on memories, longing, and the idealized relationship. The idea of endings and beginnings through liminal moments like sunrises and sunsets, and giving up a part of yourself in the face of something new and potentially daunting. by @ttw.jpeg

Land of the free - etching and aquatint- 4x6 inch - HAPPY EARTH DAY 🌎🧘🏽‍♀️🤍 The two plate process definitely included a learning curve but it was really fun to push myself with this piece! Printmaking gods were not necessarily with me on this one and there was def some bumps in the road but mistakes are part of it!

This body of work offers an introspective look at America ,the land of the free, where the right to speak, protest, and believe is woven into our national identity. It is a beautiful and essential freedom. Yet within that same freedom lives deep division, a noise so loud it drowns out the quieter, slower catastrophe unfolding beneath our feet.
The climate crisis is not a partisan issue… it is a human one. But in a nation consumed by conflict, it is too easily pushed to the back burner, deprioritized, ignored. These prints sit with that tension emphasizing the silence where urgency should be. by @ttw.jpeg

first painting is complete!

The assignment was to create an appropriation of another artist work, and I selected Darren Waterson as I felt very drawn to his ethereal pieces.
