30 Mile Training Run this morning!🤠🤠
This entire block I knew this was going to come up. I knew training for JFK, big weeks and runs would be planned.

And yeah, three months ago I would’ve said 30 miles would be nuts but hey now look. Training for JFK feels like a whole different sport and I am enjoying the process of learning it!! 🏃‍♀️

Now time for some tacos and a fun weekend!!🌮

Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5!!🌟🏃‍♀️🔥

When you see this shoe, you feel the speed. I’ve realized lately that some of our best, most confident moments start with a decision we might not think much about: what shoes we put on our feet.

And I’m not just saying that because this shoe is PINK… although that definitely makes it better! 😉😉

Initially, this shoe made me skeptical because it wasn’t quite like the race-day shoes I’m used to. As you can see, the carbon plate is rimmed instead of underneath the ball of the foot., However, once I started running in it, I could really appreciate the benefit of that design. It helps the foam maintain its spring, while making quick turnover feel smooth and effortless✨

It’s incredibly lightweight, almost unnoticeable on foot, and has a wider base than some of the other race-day shoes I’ve tested.

If I could change one thing, I’d love a more pronounced race-day rocker. But honestly, I also appreciate the speed this shoe delivers without an overly aggressive toe-off.

I can definitely see this being a great marathon shoe because it delivers that fast, responsive feel without feeling too aggressive on the legs👏👏

Great job, @adidas! Excited to see what I’ll do next in this this shoe!🤓🤓

This past weekend, I became a Boston Qualifier!!🥇🦄 A title that still doesn’t quite feel real.

Six years ago, I started running with one goal: just finish a race. And now qualifying for Boston👏

The Santa Rosa Marathon was an incredible experience. Not because of the weather or the chaotic final 10 miles that tested every marathoner out there, but because it was a breakthrough. After weeks of consistent training and trusting the process, I accomplished a goal I’d been working toward for a long time!👏

A huge thank you to @mariofraioli for believing in me and seeing this before I saw it myself. Thank you for getting me to the start line prepared and for being the best coach I could ask for! 🫶🏼✨

And thank you, @sanschagrin_chad, for spending your weekend in California cheering me on. Hearing your voice throughout the course gave me more motivation than you’ll ever know! You are the reason I started running and I’ll forever be in debt to the gift your shared with me!🫶🏼✨

To the @fleetfeettuscaloosa community—thank you. You inspire me every day, and I promise to continue showing up and cheering each of you on the same way you’ve cheered for me🫶🏼✨

Boston Qualifier and HUGE PR. 3:23!

I’m still soaking it all in, and I can’t wait to see what’s next💗🏃‍♀️🎉

Bib #1819 !! 🔥 Tomorrow it’s time to see what all the hard work can do at the @santarosamarathon!

This training block has been full of early 5 a.m. start times, long runs, workouts, learning to embrace the Alabama heat, and so many miles shared with friends who paced me, pushed me, and believed in me every step of the way!!!

It’s been a season of growth, consistency, determination, and a whole lot of fun. I’m so thankful for everyone who helped me get to this starting line, you know who you are. ❤️

Now it’s time to enjoy 26.2 miles and see what’s possible.

Let’s go have some fun!!

Getting into the elevator after my shakeout run, another runner stepped in and asked, “Are you racing tomorrow?”

I said, “Yes, the full.” I looked up...and it was @sarahall3!!🤭😱

I was completely speechless!

Sarah has been someone I’ve looked up to since I first started running. I’ve watched her compete at the highest level, balance being an elite athlete and a mom, and continually redefine what’s possible for women in this sport!👏🥇

And now, as I’m here in Santa Rosa chasing the dream of qualifying for Boston, what are the odds that I’d randomly end up in an elevator with someone who’s had such a huge impact the sport of running?

Sometimes the running community feels incredibly small in the best way.✨

Sarah, thank you for inspiring so many of us to dream bigger, work harder, and believe we’re capable of more than we ever imagined. You’re an absolute badass, and I’m grateful for everything you’ve done to raise the bar for women in this sport.

Now...time to go chase that BQ!!🏃‍♀️💗 by @ttylcurrentlyrunning

Five years ago, I finished my longest run ever: 14 miles.

I was a high school senior training for my first marathon, the Chicago Marathon. At the time, I was just hoping I could make it to the starting line.

Fast forward to this morning.

I’m nine days away from chasing my fastest marathon yet. The goal is: run my race, set a new personal best, and qualify for Boston.

As I was running, Strava reminded me of that 14-mile run from five years ago. It made me stop and think.

Lately, people have been telling me, “You’re so fast.” The funny thing is, I’m still chasing runners who are faster than me. Almost ever Friday, I run with a group that used to drop me almost immediately. Now, I’m only a few steps behind. They keep showing up, and they keep giving me someone to chase.

It’s easy to forget that the people we look up to were once exactly where we are today.

I remember being a 12+ minute-per-mile runner. Every run felt hard. The idea of running for fun seemed ridiculous. Today, an easy run around eight minutes per mile, and I genuinely look forward to that hour of uninterrupted time on the road.

Growth has a funny way of becoming invisible once it becomes your normal.

We spend so much time asking, “What’s next?” that we rarely stop to appreciate how far we’ve already come.

Whether your goal is running, your career, or any challenge worth pursuing, progress is almost never overnight. It’s built through countless ordinary days of showing up, even when it’s hot, difficult, or you don’t feel like it.

Sometimes the best motivation isn’t looking ahead, it’s looking back at the person you used to be and realizing just how much has changed.

Keep showing up. One day, the version of you that’s working hard today will be the person you’re proud to look back on!!
