It was quite an emotional read. What really got me was how Kartik had to go through so much just to pursue something he loved. The way the book talks about ragging and bullying in college feels very real, and it makes you think about what students go through behind closed doors. I also loved the part about Periamma and how she brought some comfort into Kartikโ€™s life when he needed it the most.

Knowing that the story is inspired by real events made it even more touching.

This book completely pulled me in! I found myself really connecting with Priscillaโ€”there were so many moments where I could relate to her, which made her journey feel even more personal to me.

And Briggsโ€ฆ I absolutely LOVE him! Thereโ€™s just something about him that made me root for him and Priscilla from the very beginning. Their chemistry, the emotions, and the way their relationship developed kept me turning the pages.

But Joel? I LOATHED him! Every time he appeared, I wanted to scream. He was definitely one of those characters who made me feel ALL the emotions.

Overall, it was such an enjoyable read. I loved the romance, the characters, the emotional moments, and the way the story kept me invested.

P.s. Briggs has my heart, Priscilla had my empathy, and Joel can stay far, far away. ๐Ÿ˜

 It completely broke my heart.
This book stayed with me long after I finished it, and I think thatโ€™s what makes a book truly unforgettable.

My favorite part was the friendship between Homa and Ellie. Their bond made me understand what true friendship really means โ€” unconditional love, loyalty, and simply being there for each other. While reading, I kept thinking, I wish I had a friend like that.

I loved everything about this book โ€” the writing, the characters, the emotions, the story. It made me smile, gave me hope, and broke my heart all at once.

And that endingโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ’” It shattered me. My heart hurt so much for Homa. She deserved so much more, and honestly, I still canโ€™t stop thinking about her.

A beautiful, emotional story that I know Iโ€™ll carry with me for a long time. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“–

This book broke my heart.
It was a little predictable at times, but when the twists finally came, I was genuinely shocked. I kept thinking, how can someone possibly be like that? ๐Ÿ˜ณ

And Noelleโ€ฆ I mean, she is an absolute witch. Every time she appeared, I felt frustrated and disturbed by her actions.

I also felt so bad for Poppy and Laurel. They deserved so much better, and their stories made the whole book even more heartbreaking. Watching the impact of everything that happened to them was honestly painful.

What really stayed with me was how the story explored grief, loss, trauma, and the lasting impact they can have on a family. It was emotional, unsettling, heartbreaking, and somehow impossible to put down.

Definitely one of those books that leaves you staring at the last page likeโ€ฆ what did I just read? ๐Ÿ“š

Just finished The Woman She Left Behind and I honestly really enjoyed this one. ๐Ÿค

Itโ€™s about marriage, walking away, starting over and most importantly, finding yourself again.

What I liked most was that it made me think about how sometimes we get so caught up in being a wife, partner, or just being there for everyone else that we forget who we are as individuals.

It was emotional in parts, but also really hopeful. I loved the whole message of starting a new chapter and realizing that starting over isn't necessarily a bad thing.

A really nice read if you like books about self-discovery, healing and finding yourself again. ๐Ÿค

Some books feel like a rainy evening โ€” quiet, a little heavy, and somehow comforting at the same time. This one gave me exactly that feeling ๐Ÿค

The Rain I Couldnโ€™t Let You Walk In is the kind of story that makes you sit with your thoughts. I loved the emotional atmosphere of it โ€” the rain, the loneliness, the things left unsaid, and that feeling of wanting to protect someone even when you know you canโ€™t control what happens to them.

Thereโ€™s something really beautiful about the way the story captures emotions that are difficult to put into words. It felt intimate and melancholic without being overly dramatic.

I especially loved the overall mood of the book. Itโ€™s the kind of read Iโ€™d pick up on a quiet night with a cup of coffee, rain outside, and absolutely no plans ๐Ÿ’ซ

Okay, this book kept me on edge the whole time! ๐Ÿ‘€

I was so curious about who the killer was, but I was also really invested in the characters and their pasts. Everyone had their own secrets, and I kept wondering what they were hiding and how everything was connected.

I kept trying to guess the killer throughout the book, but honestly, I DID NOT figure it out ๐Ÿ˜‚ If the author hadnโ€™t told me who the killer was, Iโ€™d probably still be sitting here trying to solve the case ๐Ÿ˜ญ I had my suspects, but clearly my detective skills need some work!

I really liked how the author handled the mystery and suspense. The way the story kept me guessing without making the answer too obvious was honestly my favourite part. The characters also felt like they had their own stories and layers, which made me even more curious about them.

You can really tell that the author put thought into the twists, the characters, and the way everything comes together. I love it when an author can actually make me question my own theories, and this book definitely did that!

Overall, such an engaging and suspenseful read. It had me playing detective from start to finish, and the fact that I couldnโ€™t guess the killer makes it even more memorable for me. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ“–

Buried Things by @authorsatyenrohit
@tlbarmy @tlb_reviews

โญโญโญโญ

This is a collection of ten short stories that explores the hidden corners of human life โ€”unspoken emotions, memories, secrets, relationships, and experiences that often remain buried beneath the surface.

What makes the collection interesting is the variety within its ten stories. Each story offers a different situation and perspective, yet they are connected by a common interest in the things people carry silently within themselves.

The stories are engaging without feeling unnecessarily complicated. Some leave an immediate impression, while others invite reflection after the final page. The short-story format works particularly well because each piece presents a concentrated experience.

The title Buried Things is particularly fitting. The book repeatedly draws attention to what remains hiddenโ€”whether deliberately or simply because certain experiences are difficult to express. This gives the collection a quiet depth and makes it more than just a series of unrelated stories

I wasnโ€™t really into the story at first. Millieโ€™s POV felt a bit boring to me, and it took some time to actually get invested. I even caught myself thinking, โ€œWhen is this story going to get interesting?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜ญ

But then Part 2, from Ninaโ€™s POV, completely changed everything. Thatโ€™s when I finally started understanding who the actual crazy one was, and I was hooked.

From there, the story just kept getting better. I had my fair share of shocks, and that one scene gave me so much relief. (Ifykyk ๐Ÿ‘€)

Overall, it started off slow for me, but Iโ€™m glad I stuck with it because the second half definitely made it worth it.

The kind of book that makes you question everyone and everything. Definitely a reminder to trust the process, even when a story takes a little time to pull you in.
