Alright folks, here's the deal. We have quietly been hard at work on the restock for the @richmedina 45 bag, and we are proud to announce that the day has come where we can sell a few of them to you! All very exciting stuff to report. The new version is available in Olive or Black and has two options for plate materials: you can now pick from brass or stainless steel. An option for engraving can be added for $15–(don't act like we didn't tell you and try and get a free one). We are able to cut into the plates in house for these, and it opens up some options for us. We've made custom rivets to match. Purple has been replaced by royal navy, and the snaps on the handles are now magnetic. The colonel’s secret recipe. So we’ve been talking about doing a @tuckerbloom x @liveconvention collab for a few years but haven’t been able to connect the dots until now. We decided on doing a transit pass; not as ambitious as a record bag but useful as receptacle for various supplies, digging or otherwise. @casebloom tabled the idea of using a recycled material and @rhek came up with the idea of using old North Face jackets. @invtgwetrust blessed us with some damaged vintage Steep Techs (plus others) and we were off to the races. The custom woven label uses our official 2023 logo overseen by @heatedwords. Each transit pass is completely unique: 1 of 1, custom stitched by the good folks at Tucker-Bloom. Recycled North Face transit passes will be likely be limited to 25-30 and Grail Pass buyers will get first dibs. $125+ if you’re lucky enough to cop one without it. Despair not - even without an NF transit pass, you’ll have the chance to take home one of our camo/canvas exclusives; also completely unique. You know what to do. We did a short run of some backpacks for our friends over @lightintheatticrecords in celebration of their 20 year anniversary. 🗓 Wrapping up the year and looking at an item I’ve been carrying with me this last quarter. My friend sent me this to test out. I’ve been carrying it for the last few months in multiple cities. Obviously, the woodland camouflage compliments my personal style. Some may call the bag a Murse or a Satchel, or Harness bag. My friend in Brooklyn said, “It’s best to call it a purse because that’s what it is”. Personally, I don’t care what it’s called, I’m rocking with it. ♥️Looking back at the past three months, I met a lot of people in person for the first time with this bag on. I most likely hooked you up with a Concrete Revolt patch or some stickers. I collected many stickers in return. I pulled some of them out for this photoshoot. They are like gold to me because I remember who gave me each of them and where. I’m old school. 🪨Here’s some concrete facts on the item: This bag is manufactured by @tuckerbloom and officially named the “Transit Pass”. It’s made of recycled materials from their manufacturing process in Nashville Tennessee. Made from scraps of leftover fabric. They make some of the finest DJ bags in the world. Yeah, like for DJ’s that carry vinyl records. (I hope you didn’t think I just shave my head as a fashion statement). We know a lot of DJ’s that still spin vinyl records on this side of the timeline. We are old school. We care who makes our products, owns the brand, and who endorses it. 💼 This bag is just as great as the contents and it’s owner. Functional, honest, and valuable. Allow us to reintroduce The Transit Pass. In early 2013 we were looking to create a small every day cary item that worked for both genders and served as a flexible tool kit. Over the years we have redesigned the Transit Pass a number of ways with the same goal in mind. The 2021 Transit Pass meets this bench mark and for the first time ever is constructed using recycled material from our manufacturing processes. We have been testing it in the shop for the past six months and think you’re going to love them!
