Wishing our friend Tuck Fauntleroy a very happy birthday! Through a masterful balance of realism and abstraction, Fauntleroy captures the vast, ever-changing landscapes of the American West and our home in Jackson Hole. We are lucky to work alongside his ability to express a profoundly human desire to capture and chase the ephemerality of seasons and time.

📸 CAMPFIRE Presents: Tuck Fauntleroy

🗓 July 13 | ⏰ 6–7:30 PM
📍 The Virginian Saloon, Jackson Hole

Join us for a cosmic conversation on nature and abstraction with renowned Jackson-based photographer Tuck Fauntleroy. 🌌

Fauntleroy’s work explores the vast, wild expanses of the American West — blending bold visual lines, snow-covered landscapes, and minimalist compositions that evoke awe and mystery. Through his lens, realism meets abstraction, and the familiar becomes transcendent.

In this special evening, Tuck will share his vision of photographing untouched terrain, the passing of seasons, and his pursuit of ephemerality in nature. 🌿❄️

🎤 Don’t miss this intimate dialogue with one of Jackson’s most compelling creative voices.

✨ Free & open to the public. Come early for a good seat!

📷 Featured in: The New York Times, Dwell, Town & Country, and more.

SAVE THE DATE: FRIDAY, JUNE 13th, from 5 - 7 pm, at MFG in downtown Jackson.

@mayafrodemangallery is pleased to present Confluence and Caldera, a solo exhibition introducing two new series of aerial photographs by Tuck Fauntleroy. These works will remain on view at the gallery’s downtown location in Jackson Hole from June 13th through July 27th, 2025. An artist reception will be held Friday, June 13th from 5 to 7pm. The artist will be in attendance. All are welcome.

Together, Confluence and Caldera probe the sparse visual aesthetic that has developed into Tuck Fauntleroy’s signature style of photography. To his eye, the unique landscapes of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and Grand Teton National Park are presented in forms more recognizable as postwar American abstraction than landscape photography. Bold black liquid splashes across the white canvas of an ice-covered lake; the otherworldly blues, golds and ochre found only in the geothermal pools of the Yellowstone Caldera appear as though dripped directly from a paintbrush. Fauntleroy frames our natural world in his aesthetic language, a dialect perhaps descended directly from Motherwell, Frankenthaler, Kline, and Pollock, but entirely his own.

Interior Finishes // As builders, there’s nothing quite like witnessing the finishing touches of a project. It is impressive to see textures, colors, and materials blend seamlessly together to create a stunning space. From concept to completion, the final piece of the puzzle is always a highlight.
