OVERKILLER (Acrylic marker, ball point pen, ink, white out) Shoutout @kevintranart_ for sending me this blank cover. It was so much fun creating my take on his and @kenthtrue amazing character. It’s a truly awesome comic book. Also shoutout the rest of the creative team behind this comic @ferranteartes @jevinloopart @phillip_quick_art #indiecomics #coverart #firstissue #comicbookart #overkiller by @tugcomics
USAGI YOJIMBO (Ball point pen, ink, acrylic marker, gel pen on paper) Here’s a Usagi Yojimbo commission I just finished up. The idea I initially had didn’t quite work so this one evolved a lot as I drew it. special thanks to @digitalbc for asking for this #usagiyojimbo #samurai #comicbookart #comission #illustration by @tugcomics
LOBO (Acrylic marker, ball point pen, ink, white out) Been loving the new lobo run by @skottieyoung and @jorge_cor That book and lobo as the crazy character he is really inspired me to loosen up my lines and it was honestly so fun and freeing by @tugcomics
DOOM PATROL x NEGATIVE MAN (Acrylic marker, ball point pen, white out, and ink) I havent read many Doom patrol comics but from what I’ve read, and from the appearances they’ve made in cartoons I watched growing up, I always loved the idea of NEGATIVE MAN. I was so excited to see his characterization in the first issue of the new doom patrol series by @dvpdirect and @niko_henrichon He’s such an enigmatic character, I’m so excited to see where they take him in this series #doompatrol #dccomics #comicbook #comiccon by @tugcomics
KARMAN BLADE (Acrylic marker and ball point pen drawing on blank comic cover) Between the mind altering art of @ianbertramink and the hauntingly mythological storytelling from @dvpdirect “the Karman Blade” is one of my most anticipated books of the year. Loved the first issue, can’t wait for the rest. #imagecomics #comicbookart #coverart #illustration #traditionalartist by @tugcomics
DO A POWER BOMB (Acrylic marker, ball point pen and screen tones) Here’s a drawing on a blank comic cover I did recently. “Do A Power bomb” is one of my favorite comic books of all time. It’s one I recommend to people a lot because I feel it captures everything that makes comics cool. @danielwarrenart and @spicercolor created an absolute masterpiece with this book. I hope I did it justice! #comicbookart #comicbookcovers #illustration #comics #graphicnovel by @tugcomics
BETA RAY BILL (Acrylic marker and ball point pen) Just finished this commission for @cbkcast Beta ray bill is such an underrated character. I had so many different ideas of where to take this commission so it was a little tough to commit to one. But I’m happy with how it came out! One more commission down, on to the next! #betaraybill #thor #graphicnovels #comission #comicbookart by @tugcomics
SILVER SURFER (acrylic marker, ball point pen) Just finished up this commission for @gregsucks He just asked for silver surfer but you can’t do silver surfer without GALACTUS. Such a blast drawing these characters. Working through my commission list so there’s gonna be some fun drawings coming soon! #silversurfer #marvel #graphicnovel #comicbookart #comissions by @tugcomics

Down to draw whatever so just lmk! #tmnt #usagiyojimbo #comission #graphicnovel #illustration by @tugcomics
Drew some fan art inspired by ASSORTED CRISIS EVENTS (Acrylic marker and ball point pen on paper) I can truly say I’ve never read anything like this comic. @denizcampcomics blends beautiful time bending sci-fi with deeply emotional character studies. The art from @ericxyzawadzki absolutely blows me away with the creativity and exceptional design. Go check it out!! #assortedcrisisevents #graphicnovel #comicbooks #sketchbook #scifi by @tugcomics
SPIDER-MAN! Loved the new movie so much, had to bang out a quick sketch! by @tugcomics
MURDER FALCON VS CHAINKATA If you know me you know I’m a huge @danielwarrenart fan. His graphic novel “Murder falcon” was the first book I read by him and it is one of the reasons I was inspired to make comics. I’m so excited to read Chainkata and get inspired all over again! (Acrylic paint and ball point pen on paper) #chainkata #imagecomics #danielwarrenjohnson #comicbookart #graphicnovel by @tugcomics
