BTW, has anyone checked out the Midjourney Alpha? 👀✨ They’ve made sooo many changes over the past two weeks 🤯🔥 My faves are the new edit tools, ratio changes, and the aesthetics updates 😍🎨✨📸🧡

video: Seedance 2.5 (I tried using selfie videos for the microexpressions, but this time Seedance was fighting me 😭 It kept giving me the excuse that I looked like someone else. *Ummm, sir AI… thanks for the flattery, but please give me my output 🤌🏾😢😂*
A workaround was having Gemini(which is really good at this.) analyze my video and break down every tiny facial movement and expression. I added all those details to my prompt, and that helped. I rewatched the videos and broke them down too.
Also… I definitely should’ve used character sheets for everything in this story. 😩😂 Ah well! You live, you learn. 🎬✨

This week, three people asked me about Veo. I use it occasionally for work, but I haven't really used it for a personal project since the beginning of this year. I think I just moved on to chase the next new new.

I couldn't sleep tonight, so I decided to explore it again. I have to say, it's still a solid model and an absolute beast when paired with Omni Flash. I did have to do quite a bit of storyboarding, some moderate editing, but still… very cool. (They got rid of the watermark in Flow 😍…but not in Gemini 😢…I usually use aggregators, but mama's on an AI budget these days, plus I wanted to see the improvements on Google's side.)

It's almost 4 a.m., so I'm going to read for a bit…rereading an old favorite, "Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain"…then hopefully get some sleep. (Just finished "The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration by Isabel Wilkerson…really good.)
