It’s challenging to find time to press, print, and play when the to do list is stacked high and visits with friends and family feel low. I’m preparing to head in to my third semester of my graduate program.
.
It’s been a busy summer but I haven’t missed out on creativity. I’ve harnessed it in refreshingly new ways including lots of pickling, mastering cast iron pound cake with peaches and honey from @eastiefarm and incorporating fresh veggies into meals from my garden.
.
It’s a privilege to share this space with creatives and thoughtful consumers that value and understand these shifts. Looking forward to pacing myself this fall and returning to tuLipp when the time is right. by @tulipp.me

Shop Sweet Janes is a designer consignment shop based in Worcester, MA. It feels like a perfect match. While we’re no Chanel over here, I made my first line of bags in my undergrad sculpture class and titled it “Second Hand”. The project aimed to bring to light the reality of consumerism. We are all second hand consumers to nature. It feels very full circle to have our bags at Sweet Janes, a shop and team that value brining life back into quality goods!!! by @tulipp.me

Last night, at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, I had the pleasure of learning from researchers at the Harvard Herbaria about techniques for preserving and pressing plants.
As they hold a library of 5 million specimen, I asked, “How and where do you start!!?” One researcher replied, “I sort of pick a corner of a cabinet and go from there!”

My mama sent along a big bundle of pressed petals and flowers. They started as a bouquet from our long time friends over at @apianflowerco

I’ve been dreaming up this line, these photos, this amazing collaboration since I made our first tote a year ago. These guys brought the dream to life.

And a big hug to my little sister, Jane and her friends for taking the time out of their parents weekend to play. These guys are all grounded, inspiring, kind, and FUN. Returning to Boston today with a full heart.

I’m a deeply sentimental person but I can’t stand clutter. I struggle holding onto things if they don’t have an immediate purpose in my day to day.

That’s why I love the pressed petal tote and all that it can encompass. Carry your memories with you and capture your bouquets from a first communion, prom, a wedding, and initiations. Spring line coming in March!
