I love the practice of looking closer. It reveals that there is so much beauty in the “mundane things”.

In a time where our minds need to be constantly entertained, we can often lose sight of simplistically beautiful things.

It’s not the constant stimulation that our minds need, but to be still enough to where our souls can actually gaze upon the world around us.

To move at a pace where we can see the details The Creator has hidden all around us. To allow our souls to not just be left in awe of the magnificent, but be left in wonder of a God who cares enough to make the mundane things like cherries & the leaves of a lily so beautiful.

The joy I had in finding this place was truly a gift from Jesus.

Finding people who take hold of their passions and use their gifts to craft amazing things is truly inspiring and brings my heart joy.

Here are some photos that hopefully capture this cool company

Photos from my recent venture in developing and scanning my own film at home.

A mixture of 35mm & 120 in color/B&W. All B&W was developed by me and color was from a lab (I’ll start doing color film in due time)

Scans done with my @fujifilmx_us XT3 with a vintage macro and used a @lobsterholder to mount the film negatives. Different softwares were used for the conversions while I’m figuring out what works best for my brains bandwidth, haha.

I’ve enjoyed having a more hands on experience in my photography. From taking the photo, to making it come to life through the chemical process, and finally to the positive image.

Taking a bit of time away from diving deeper in this process to spend more time with Jesus through reading more scripture and playing guitar again, BUT looking forward to what creativity Holy Spirit will birth out of the secret place !!!

Hope yall enjoy !!
