Its the one thing that keeps you coming back, beyond the music…

It’s the stories.

Physical media interacts with the physical world and people interact with it.

Thats what digital and streaming will never have and AI certainly can’t replicate.

I used to love posters up round town.

Talking to people about what you’re doing, seeing what else is on, analysing the other poster designs.

I feel 25 again, or even 17 handing out flyers or stickers through concert square and Slater Street.

Anyway, this Sunday I’ll be narcissistically playing records down at @districtlpool 2pm - 6pm.

Vinyl Adventures.

2-6 in @yardliverpool at @districtlpool travelling through musical tundra, hopefully in the sunshine.

Beers, cocktails, no’s & lows.

Free entry and proper dodgy dj dancing. Thank you for your attention.

I’ll do a proper poster next mate. ❤️

The event is called Shivaree after the Detroit techno song by A Number Of Names called Sharevari which was apparently named after a French shop in Detroit which was so called because of a strange European folkloric tradition named Chivaree or Charivari. It was the custom of the local community making noise by banging pots and pans outside a newlyweds home.

2 gigs this week. First one in @halfspacelpl 11am - 1pm for a deep work session. Hot-desk, free coffee and chill vibes for £6.50. Get head down and work through that novel, send the emails you can’t find the head space or finish your pitch deck for your next project. All while I serenade you with some calming vinyl crackle.

Then Saturday I’ll be on 6pm - 9pm at @craft_beer_expo in @blacklodgebrew bringing the obscure, never the obvious vibes for the evening session. The Expo is on Friday and Saturday afternoon as well and there’s still a few tickets left.
