I feel spoiled getting to watch @gamksimoon perform twice this week. Come Toward The Fire at the @chancentreubc was incredible to witness, there were so many talented indigenous artists, musicians and storytellers under one roof. Mēduh Chō for including this Tahltan. If you dig this song you should check out Gamksimoon’s full length record “Gyiin Naxnox” on Bandcamp and on vinyl. I bought mine from @highlife_records if you’re a Vancouver local! by @tundrawizard

What an unforgettable experience watching @gamksimoon perform in the Museum of Anthropology’s main hall. This was my Pink Floyd at Pompeii. Jeremy Pahl sings in Sm’alagyax about Sasquatch, police car flipping, netting salmon out of the stikine river, and family traditions. As a Tahltan man it feels so refreshing to hear music like this. Gamksimoon plays again TOMORROW a part of the Come Towards the Fire festival at the @chancentreubc this weekend. They play from 4-4:20! But you wanna come at 12:30 to see all the performers. I’ll also be tabling but you wanna come for @gamksimoon! And all the other musicians! Jeremy also has merch so go find him and buy Gyiin Naxnox on vinyl by @tundrawizard

Mēduh Chō Prairie Comics Festival!! Congratulations on 10 years. Thanks for making us feel so special every time we visit your city @prairiecomicsfestival.

We spent an extra couple of days around the fest to check out Thirsty’s Flea Market @inservicecomics @raes.rummage and attend @voivodofficial and @propagandhi_official at the @parktheatre! And on the way home I bumped into Away & Rocky from Voivod at the airport!!! What a cool way to end the trip. I hope you dig my comics, Voivod! by @tundrawizard

“Le Grande Chief” from the 1932 comic, Tintin in America. You know, when I was at Angouleme 2 years ago, this was the type of shit I was looking for. Funny to think I was in France in January 2024 and in February 2024, this was released. So I bought it online, just like everything else I’ve shown off today. Approx 6” and I had to glue his tomahawk together because it arrived broken. by @tundrawizard
