What a gorgeous day for the Lock & Paddle at Hartwells Lockstation on the Rideau Canal! 🚣‍♀️☀️

A huge shoutout to all the amazing folks at @parks.canada for making this event so special, and of course to the incredible kayakers and Dragon Boat teams who brought the energy, excitement, and community spirit to the water. 🛶🐉💙

Such a beautiful day on the canal!

China put on an incredible show Wednesday night, filling the Ottawa skies with dancing fireworks. ✨🎆

Little did we know, that was just the calm before the storm. I made it home without a single raindrop… and then the skies opened up.

What followed was an absolutely torrential storm, unleashing an unbelievable amount of chaos and carnage across the city. Mother Nature definitely saved her biggest performance for last. ⛈️🌩️

Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy Fireworks from the Marina Du Hull. Team Brazil lit up the sky on August 8th with a spectacular show presented by @vision.show 🇨🇦🎆
Considering it was pouring rain earlier, the rain cleared up and Brazil rocked our Ottawa skies. There was a good bit of smoke from our view which contributed a bit ambience to the scene.

Great fireworks, great friends, and another unforgettable night over the Ottawa River.

A night where the sky became the canvas! 🎆

The view from the Mackenzie King Bridge did not disappoint as Team France 🇫🇷 lit up the sky on August 5th for the Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy. From the first burst to the grand finale, it was a spectacular display of colour, light, and pure magic over the Rideau Canal.

An incredible show presented by @pyragric 🇨🇦🎆 —
Team France brought the fireworks, and Ottawa brought the perfect backdrop. ❤️
