Tracks from the Racks
Mix 11 — Tunney

For the final instalment of the series, we dive into a mix by @tunney____ ,pulling from all corners of a record collection, moving from old to new, deep to dark, sexy to nasty, a taste of it all across 60 minutes.

Rooted in house throughout, the mix aims for a dreamy feeling that fits any moment, whether you’re heading to work or getting ready to party.

Moving through wax from the 90s, early 2000s and mid-2010s, the set also features a 2026 test pressing from Dublin-based Fluff Records, A2 by George Brennan, alongside nods to artists and labels continuing to push the scene forward.

More than anything, the mix is a reminder not to get boxed in by genres or categories. There’s good music everywhere, you just have to dig for it. Look for the B-sides, the dubs and the instrumentals. Get out of Spotify, head to the record store, and let the music find you.

Recorded from vinyl to cassette as part of the TFTR series.

A limited-run printed zine documenting the series is in production.

Playing around with 2 of my favourite releases so far this year 🚀

Coincidentally both coming from labels of two friends and legends I’ve met over the years being @delasfloresdj and @dub.intentions ❤️

There’s a lot of hype around the old school records, but there is some seriously good stuff being released these days that shouldn’t be overlooked!

When I saw they got two of my favourite producers @joolmad_ and @georgebrennan_ on their releases I knew I had to cop immediately and wasn’t disappointed. Big ups to all 🙏🫡

1: Joolmad & @mrfreeze_ - Burning Desire
@laninyarecords - LANIN01

2: Brennan - Marzamino
@shibuisound -SHIW002

Bassline worth waiting for 🌅💣

Another all time favourite record of mine, the perfect balance of hands in the air house and driving bass to shake those hips.

Released in 2001 from the UK, I’m surprised this one has flown under the radar for so long, 30 copies still on Discogs between €1-€7 😉🫡
