#Usman’s knife.
It’s finally done!

(Scroll over to the last pic to see how it began)

A while back, I was leaving Usman’s place. As I stopped to tie my shoes, I spotted this knife on top of his shoe rack. He was planning to toss it into the scrap(or as we Maharashtrians call it, “Bhangaar”), so I asked if I could take it home instead and restore it for him.

Working on this knife reminded me that some things just need a little bit of sandpaper and patience to be as good as new. You can interpret that however you want. It might apply to relationships, friendships, a career setback, academic failure, or even dealing with the loss of a loved one.

Sometimes, you just need a little patience and a bit of sandpaper 😉. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq

Old timer made it to the gram. From the same collection as the spoons before, this one was actually carved out from the broken leg of a wooden stool my grandfather had got made for the house back in the 2000s sometime. The stool didn’t last, but it’s essence carries on in this piece. The intention was to explore a deeper bowl to kinda ‘scoop’ things out… maybe salt, maybe a bit of this & that. Maybe both.

Silvertone Sunday. My week wrapped in a greyscale.

Lots and lots of holidays this week man! Phew!!! I am gonna miss this week for sure.

Good food, good music, great people. This week was lovely. Worked a little bit on the Suzuki. I learned that it might not be possible to raise the bike by 4 inches like I want to because then the chain would interfere with the swing arm fulcrum. Might have to settle for a new design instead of a scrambler. Of course the Suzuki is a long-term project but man, I wanted it to be perfect. I can't take risks when it comes to the physics of the motorcycle because that just makes it dangerous. We'll probably keep the entire chassis and the suspension stock and shift to a street tracker style of motorcycle. That sounds lovely.

The point of Silverstone Sunday, as I discussed in one of my earlier captions, was to maybe become an indicator of my life's progress and prosperity. I'm looking forward to it. Nothing significant in the past week, though. If I do it for the next 10 years, who knows what the Silverstone Sunday from 10 years later is going to look like? Man I could end up in Miami on a yacht or something. Fingers crossed man, fingers crossed.

To all of you that support me by liking my posts, thank you. Really appreciate you all. 10 years later if I am in a very, very, very good place, I'm going to remember y'all personally. Some of y'all might even get an expensive watch as a gift from me. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq

Silvertone Sunday. Ish.

Okay, okay. It’s technically Monday, but I was only 35 minutes late, in my defence. It’s 12:35 AM, and let’s just say this was posted on a Sunday. As promised.

My week, wrapped in grayscale. The glorious Silvertone Sunday.

I’m starting to feel like this ritual we have can be more than just a photo dump of my week. Maybe it can turn into an indicator of my life’s prosperity. Like, you know those lines the geeky stock market people use to predict market trends, or whatever the economist nerds call indicators of an economy’s prosperity??? Remember those things??!

Maybe Silvertone Sunday can be that for us, my friend. Maybe we can keep this cute ritual up, and in a decade, we can look back and see how our weeks changed. How the places we went to changed. How the activities we indulged in changed. How the people around us, the cars, the clothes—how all of it changed. And hopefully, for the better.

Maybe Silvertone Sunday was always about more than just a cringe photo dump routine for internet attention. Maybe it was meant to be our “indicator of economic prosperity.” Blah blah… basically, our status meter.

Hmm… something to sit with.

Bye, folks. Hope you enjoyed the festivities. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq

Silvertone Sunday. The week wrapped on a greyscale.

This was a good one, like a good good one. You know those special weeks where you get work done AND go out a lot? This was one of those. Good food, great people, and shockingly decent sleep too! Let’s not jinx this, until next time. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq

Title: Happy Guy.
Year: 2023.
Medium: ball pen on paper.

Happy guy came alive in the September of 2023. This particular drawing was the first time I put him on paper and when I was done I felt weird when I saw that smirk. It still creeps me out till date but there’s something about that smile which maybe only I understand. He later evolved into other forms… I will put them up too. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq

Going on my final cut. The target weight sits somewhere around 70Kg now. Enough size plus definition is the goal for this cut.

Pic 1: 76Kg. Gained good mass from my previous condition. Gained plenty strength.

One thing I’m changing now is moving from a hypertrophy focused routine to something I heard called a “fighter routine”. The goal with this is not to chase muscle size or definition but to create a dangerous and capable body. I’m mixing up wrestling routines and boxing drills for endurance, stamina, and strength. This will be keeping the long run in mind.

2020: 54Kg. Lean but not big. Also not happy 🥲 This was back when I was about to go to junior college and the only thing I used to be obsessed with was Ronaldo, siuuu!!! Naah but being this lean also came at the cost of muscle size and my ego needs size. So that’s when I decided to go on my first “mini” bulk. (There was nothing mini about the bulk.)

2021: 60Kg. Gained some size, while maintaining some vascularity around the triceps, this is where I SHOULD HAVE stopped the bulk and kept on lean bulking but the steady strength progression from the extra calories was so addictive I decided to go all in. Going all in comes at a cost and imma have to spend the next 6 months cutting again now. Never gonna do the whole bulk-cut thing again, it takes a serious toll on your mental health. Like for real that shi gets exhausting and you start to loose focus from other areas of life. Great as a one time experience but not sustainable. Only simple drills from now on. taken in Pune, Maharashtra by @tupehq
