We’re back and we need help!
Mummy is on 14 days of torpedo size antibiotics to help with her poorly chest and although these tablets are thankfully effective they do come with one very hard to live with requirement, no wine! Yes our friends, Mummy is now on day 5 without any vino and she’s not a happy Mummy. Rumour has it she’s been seen sniffing corks and caressing bottle necks and she’s making strange whimpering noises and cries a lot.
Can you believe (and here we suggest kitties of a sensitive disposition read no further) that we got shouted at? We mean, since when wasn’t it acceptable for us to sharpen our claws on the sofa? Oh wait a mo, it’s never been acceptable, but seriously did she really need to raise her voice? Us kitties are not used to hearing the word no and it shocked us to the core. So although Mummy has sore lungs, a cough that rattles her bones, an upset stomach, and is oh so missing her vino, it’s us kitties who are suffering, and we are getting concerned, what if she gets so sad she forgets to give us our purrpops? What if she relinquishes feeding us to Daddy and we don’t get second brekkies? There are still many dry days to go and things will surely only get worse, anything could happen, please help us, we need short term foster care.

Today’s Friyay box pawty could be interesting. I’m in Iris’s box, her favourite this is mine and mine alone box, and let’s say she’s more than just a tad annoyed. So get on over here kitties and place your bets, who is going to be victorious and who is going to be evicted?

Check out our lovely new bed that Mummy bought us from Omotayo Akinkunmi an Etsy seller who really went above and beyond to make it purrfect for us. Mummy said Santa was bringing it back at Christmas (here we go again with the nonsense) but we were in it before you could say (close your ears little ones) there’s no such thing as Santa and she values her fingers too much to try to take it off us! Happy Purrsday friends!!
