Got this bee bread out of a swarm trap. I would not typically take this from the bees, but they had plenty of resources. To extract it I will freeze the comb and the shatter it to remove the bread. Retail it goes for around $180 per pound. A rare treat. #bees by @turmericafarms

Many beekeepers hate joro spiders. They can be bad if they set up shop in front of your hives. However, you can carry them over to where you are storing your supers, and they will protect them from wax moths. The spiders will not move more than a few feet from where you throw them. I have done this for two seasons and it has kept moths out. Put them to work for you. #bees #honeybees by @turmericafarms

Stop using carpenter bee traps. If you make homes for them, they wont make a home in yours. #bees by @turmericafarms

Just got these bees out of a tree that fell after the storm last night. The homeowners house did have damage, but take a look. The bees are homeless too. There were also squirrels living in this tree before the bees moved in. We also found some giant beetle larva. taken in Athens, Georgia by @turmericafarms

I just caught a swarm that came out of the hole in this massive oak tree. This bee tree looks like it came out of a fairy tale! by @turmericafarms
