I painted a couple of j-cards! Despite it being 2026, we’re still over here collecting old tapes and making new tapes, and have always been interested in the art that goes into j-card history.

These two were painted loosely with @theartofsoil, which are soil-based eco-friendly watercolor. I love the earthy pigments. 😍

While these j-cards don’t have song or artist names on them, I think a collection of painted cassette tapes on a shelf would look so dreamy. Please if there’s anyone else out there still collecting tapes, let me paint for you!

“Artober” day 2 (10/2) in which I encourage myself to create something every. day. in October.

While I wasn’t at the Dillon show, I couldn’t help but try to paint that incredible sky. Maybe you just had to be there??

As the weather starts to shift here in Wisconsin and the days are definitely cooler, I’m missing those summer tour nights…take me back to Colorado!

Happy October! I keep seeing artists doing “Artober”, where they create one thing every day. I’m intrigued. Usually there’s themes or prompts about what to make each day (ok cool, but I’m going to do it my way 😅)

So every day this month, I’m challenging myself to simply create. Simple right?? I’m hoping this encourages me to play, slow down, grow, meditate.

Day 1: a moody, monochrome, misty little watercolor tree scene to kick things off. I usually paint with vibrant colors so sticking to one color was a fun challenge.

& if you know my work, you know I usually add lyrics. I paint to music and once a piece is finished, it tends to tell me which lyrics it wants. I can’t quite figure this one out. Does it need lyrics? Which ones would you add?

Finally, this is a personal exercise, but if something calls to you or you want to get a head start on holiday shopping, my DMs are always open. Lyrics can be added to any piece, each one will be dated and marked with it’s day. by @turnedclouds.studio

A fall equinox vibe paint. Turned on some music last night and got lost in the flow. I’m trying to explore letting go. Being loose. 🧘🏼‍♀️

- Loose watercolor + pen
- Arches cold-pressed 300gsm watercolor paper
- Featuring lyrics from the Goose song Indian River
- Paint session: one long, organic, meditative flow. No thoughts, no plans. Mostly wet on wet, vibing while the paint did it’s thing. Indian River lyrics came after…it feels like a good fit.

Ok ok ok, they’re finally here! After getting stuck in Pennsylvania for 4 days, live art show prints FINALLY arrived! I’m so excited to share these. The paper is insane- it’s this 500gsm cotton photo rag that is SO thick and frankly has no business looking this good in person. My potato of an iPhone doesn’t do these prints justice.

These are all prints of art that was created live, at each Goose show! 2 versions (day + night) done at Red Rocks, and 1 done at Kettlehouse amphitheater. Mixed media pencil, acrylic pen, and watercolor.

Limited run of each - only 10 available of each! Etsy or Venmo, DM if you have any questions!
