First of our secret headliners to be reviled is our most exciting booking to date the one and only NANNA MAKINA 👵🏻🎧

Nanna Makina
is a viral, high-energy comedic alter ego created by Newcastle-based superstar DJ and producer Schak. Characterised as a raving, track-suit-loving, energetic elderly grandmother, the character has become a massive cultural icon in the UK North East rave scene. Nanna Makina serves as a visual and musical vehicle to celebrate and revive Makina, a fast and aggressive subgenre of hardcore techno and Euro-trance 👌🔥🕺

Nanna makina made electronic music history at Creamfields 2026 by introducing the festival to its first-ever Makina set under his viral, high-energy alter ego, Nanna Makina. Taking the stage for the Goodgreef hostings, the North East native delivered a high-octane performance that has officially cemented the Spanish-originated genre into the mainstream festival landscape. 💚🫡

The release of “Impacto (Makina)” on 18 September 2026 represents a major cultural milestone, signaling the definitive transition of Makina from a niche, regional UK subculture into global mainstream electronic music. A high-octane collaboration between Dutch heavyweight duo W&W, Newcastle DJ/producer Schak (performing via his widely popular viral alter-ego Nanna Makina), and DJ Skryker, the track has ignited a full-scale genre revival. And personally we at turn it down sounds think it is the biggest song of the year 💯🔥

We are more than delighted to bring you the one and only nanna makina 🔥🫶🏻🫶🏻 by @turnitdownsounds

Next up on our resident dj spots in one my favourites of all time the one and only REDDEM 🦁❤️

Originally from Australia, and moved to the UK when she was 16. Her love for Hardcore began when she dedicated her weekends purely to raving up and down the country, following all her favourite hardcore DJs and MCs.

Her journey as a DJ started in Bristol and was later introduced to many different sounds and scenes where she found her love for hard tek. REDDEM doesn’t constrain herself to one genre! She explores lots of different styles and always brings big energy, fat basslines and that euphoric Hardcore feeling. Anything goes and anyone is welcome!

After meeting Reddem at boomtown and seeing her more than unique talent I knew she had to get added to the turn it down sounds roster she is going to be the breakthrough dj of the year and we will make sure she is showcased as much as possible she’s more than just a dj she’s a amazing and kind person please give a warm welcome to the queen of the scene REDDEM 🦁🫶🏻💯💚👀 by @turnitdownsounds
