POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well on the back of last years success we had high hopes which were matched at Yarrawonga. Then Taree we fell over and were unable to get up again in time after some parts failures at Dargle.

Well Windsor was a tale of the year that has been, relatively competitive through hot laps and the @nationaldrivers.championship heats with a second place qualifier and two heat wins, only to be let down by a blown spark plug lead which limited us to 6000rpm and made her sound shocking.

We got on top of this for Sunday morning to get two heat wins in the Chesser just to have Mother Nature change her mind and take the clash of titans away from us. For the year that’s been we would like to thank all those whose unwavering support has made the effort worth while.

We would like to congratulate the Odin @constablebrosrracing team and the constable family for their effort and outstanding consistency throughout the year. The Lay It On team and Tate Ramsey you were by far a cut above the rest with Odin this year and that showed with the finishing order. And finally the @mayhem_b.a.d_boat crew, we laughed about it over the weekend that we both knew what we needed to do and the chips just fell our way this time. The consistent performance and effort to bring the show to every round is nothing short of incredible and we wish you all the best. by @turnitup.racing

💔 Heartbreak for the Turn It Up crew.

Lost the prop shaft and our winning hot laps prop and our weekend went with it. Not the result we were chasing, but we’ll get it sorted and be back at Windsor! taken in Dargle Water Ski Park by @turnitup.racing

💔 Heartbreak for the Turn It Up Racing team.

Unfortunately, after making a number of changes to the boat, we haven’t been able to get everything completed and tested in time for Taree this weekend.

As disappointing as it is to miss a race meeting, we’d rather take the time to get everything right than rush the process.

We won’t be on the water this weekend, but we’ll be back bigger, better and ready to go for Dargle.

Good luck to all the teams competing in Taree, and thanks to everyone for the support. 🏁💨 by @turnitup.racing

Talking Turning Up – Cell Importance

Safety cells are one of the most important parts of any race boat. After Scott’s crash in Supernova, it’s easy to see why. They’re built to protect drivers when things don’t go to plan.

Disclaimer: Scott is okay and walked away from this incident.
