Living in Laie you’re surrounded by so many beautiful Polynesian cultures. Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Tahitian, Māori… dancing, music, and celebrating together has always just been a part of life. But last night was so much fun.

Watching Stan’s nephews @ringoffirehawaii and @hale_676 put on the show and seeing my niece Marli @kuupunahele___ out there doing fire knife dance made me so proud. All I could think about was my grandma. If she was still here she would’ve been right in the middle doing her siva. I could feel both her and my dad with us last night. ❤️

Thank you @prideofgypsies and @iolani_moon for such a beautiful celebration.

@samoanstuntman and @auntysuenami your home has become the heart of our family. It reminds me so much of Grandma’s house when we were kids. The place where everyone gathered, laughed, ate, and made memories. I’m so grateful our family still has that. taken in Laie, Hawaii by @tutasi

🥳Happy Birthday to my most favorite person in the entire world. He continues to accomplish soooo many things in life. This past year, amongst all the trials we faced, he still found a way to apply and get accepted to his Doctoral Program at The University of Southern California!!!✌🏽His resilience amazes me and I’m so proud of ALL that he has done and WILL continue to do. He changes lives and inspires so many, including mine.

Congrats hun!! And Congrats USC @uscedu for getting my husband😂 If anyone knows of any scholarship opportunities to USC, let me know😂😂 his athletic clock is out and I can’t sell any of my organs on the black market😂 jkjk

Let me tell you ‘bout my village…

It does take a village to raise a child…but when that child grows into an adult and life knocks her down, it STILL takes a village to raise her up.🤗

“Thank you” doesn’t even begin to express my heart & gratitude for ALL the incredible people in my life. Many who are in this post☺️, and MANY who are not🥰, but please know that every act of love has left a mark on my heart. I truly survived these past months because of you🙏🏽

From food deliveries, gift baskets, flowers, Amazon packages, holistic oils, gift cards, blankets, and so much more… you have blessed me in ways I’ll never forget🥰

More than the tangibles, it was and still is, your words of strength in conversations, messages, texts (yes even the ones I have yet to reply to🤦🏽‍♀️), comments, and most importantly in prayer. These will forever be the valuables in my life.

My village…you are the added evidence of God’s love for me. Through each of you, He reminded me that I was never alone.

Let me tell you ‘bout my man 🥰

Social media could never fully capture the amount of love, sacrifice, dedication, and goodness my incredible husband has given, and continues to give, throughout this entire journey.

He has studied my diagnosis day and night🥹, listened to countless podcasts, cooked healthy meals, fed me, helped dress me, meditated with me, booked rhythmic drumming classes 😂, completed all of our insurance paperwork, sat beside me through every appointment and surgery, held my hand, and calmed my heart through it all. And not once has he complained.

Through one of the hardest seasons of our lives, he has reminded me every single day that together, we can face anything. 😭❤️

Last week, we celebrated 15 years of marriage, and I can honestly say that I love him more today than ever before. Ula Matavao, you are truly the best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you for loving me so completely and standing by me through it all.

My partner in this life and the next…eternally made❤️✨

Fighting cancer was definitely not on my 2026 bingo card. This journey has been humbling, faith-building, and most of all, a reminder of how precious this life truly is.

🙏🏽These past few months have tested me mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I’ve spiraled into some of the lowest and darkest places, but through it all, God never left my side. In moments of fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty, He carried me and reminded me that I was never alone.

✨As hard as this journey has been, it has also changed me for the better. It has deepened my faith, shifted my perspective, and taught me to slow down and truly cherish the people, moments, and simple joys that make life meaningful. It has reminded me to keep smiling through even the hardest of times and for that, I’ll forever be grateful for this experience.

🤍I don’t have all the answers, but I do know this, God has been in every detail of my life, and I am stronger because of Him.

🫶🏽My heart and prayers continue to be with those who are fighting this battle. You are seen, you are stronger than you know, and you are NEVER alone.

Still fighting. Still healing. Still growing. FOREVER trusting God🤍
