POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I engraved an extra special “first jewelry box” for a sweet baby girl expected to arrive soon! The first time mama-to-he’s nearest and dearest filled the box with sentimental treasures for baby Ella, including seashells and hand written notes with well wishes and life advice. What do you think? Swipe to see my sketch, then engraving before applying the gold. It’s my first glass jewelry box and I’ll forward to doing more!!!

Happy Lunar New Year! Had to jump in from my hiatus to write my friends a well wish for the year of the rat! I am super rusty, yikes - my nib caught the paper fibers so many times and I even sketched this out first because I wanted to really play with the flourishing! My impatience got the best of me and I went in with my erasure before the ink was completely dry of course 😆😆😆 whoooa! Not perfect but proud of my effort! Hoping to get more time to practice more this year - been eying some upcoming classes at @castleintheairstudio 😆😆. What are you hoping for in 2020???

It’s been a while since I said hello! I was asked by a client to do some live lettering at her travel themed wedding over the weekend. The wedding was so lovely with shades of navy and pale blue! The bride is a super event planner and has every detail of her special thought out - including the desire to feature live calligraphy for custom keepsakes from the special celebration for her guests! I personalized some luggage tags and Christmas ornaments with gold lettering. All guests were vaccinated and I wore a mask the entire time (except to take a couple photos here 😆). It felt so nice to dress up for a special occasion again! I don’t know about you, but it’s been a while since this mama of two did her hair and make up for an event! When was the last time you dressed up??? taken in Sunol's Casa Bella by @tutramcreates

First post in a LONG time, and I made a reel! 🤯😆

Hello friends! I am much better at posting on my stories as you likely know, but I am going to try to get better about sharing more! 😅

Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of providing live engraving at @diptyque store in a @cityoflarkspur, a super charming town in California’s north bay. I learned from the wonderful staff that each store’s design is highly intentional, and I adored this one’s nautical, warm and airy ambiance! The team is wonderful and it smells so good inside 😘

I hope you enjoy this video and I will try to do more!

However and with whomever you celebrate, wishing you all a wonderful Mother’s Day!

Special thank you, of course, to @handletteredbytiffany for connecting us. I would not have any of the opportunities I’ve been blessed with had it not been for generous and kind calligrafriends in the community!

Engraving these glass boxes is always a delight. With each design, an empty form becomes a bespoke keepsake—crafted to hold memories, milestones, and treasures unique to its owner.

Do you have a special “Emily” in your life? 🥰

I know I’ve been quiet, friends! I do have some exciting projects brewing that I’m excited to share for the upcoming holiday season. Grateful to continue to practice and create custom gifts in the mean time. I hope everyone is healthy and well!

I adore iridescent anything, and when I found this water bottle with the pink ombré, I imagined gold engraving would work really well - what do you think? I hope Sandy feels an extra sparkle of warmth whenever she looks at her bottle!

I tried to capture the process but my hat unfortunately blocked some of the footage 🫣🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 I just ordered a special tripod lamp that I’m hoping will help! Stay tuned for that 😆

Isaiah 53:5

”But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

It’s been a while - but I’m still here! I’m shocked that we are almost a quarter way through 2024. Is time flying for anyone else? by @tutramcreates

Joining late, but here’s my entry for today’s #adventcalendarofpositivity joyed by @anintran. I should have warmed up first, I jumped right into this cold, so you can see some shakes squiggly strokes 😅. Even now, 6-7 years (?) into practicing calligraphy (on and off, because life 😅😅😅) do I need to remind myself that it’s all about progress, not perfection. I’ve come a long way in my journey, and as I tell my son - the only person I need to be better than is me. 😁 by @tutramcreates
