Today is one of the hardest days of my life.

Today we celebrate the beautiful life of my grandmother, Ruth Garcia a woman whose love, strength, faith, and kindness shaped generations of our family.

She wasn’t just our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother… she was our foundation. She taught us to love fiercely, laugh often, forgive quickly, and always keep our faith in God. Her home was always filled with love, and her heart had room for everyone.

Although our hearts are broken, we know Heaven gained one of its sweetest angels. We find peace knowing she is reunited with her son, Anthony, and resting in the arms of our Lord.

If my grandmother ever touched your life, shared a laugh with you, encouraged you, or simply made you smile, our family would be honored if you joined us today as we celebrate the incredible woman she was.

I’m honestly still in shock. This doesn’t feel real at all.

Marco… you were such an amazing soul. When I first met you back in 1999, none of us knew how far this journey would go. I was running the record company Big Houze Records and the recording Studio 3 back then, and we were all just trying to build something real—putting in the work, betting on ourselves, and believing before anyone else did.

What I will always be thankful for is that you never forgot who was there in the beginning. You always showed appreciation for the support I gave you and the team when we were all starting out—when nothing wasn’t guaranteed and everyone was a starving artist chasing a dream. That gratitude meant everything to me.

You and your crew (you, AB, and Juju) were the first ones to take that leap to California and land a major record deal. Watching what you became—and what everyone grew into—is incredible. I’m so proud of you. I always have been.

I know you were celebrated today, and thank you Melannie for representing for our crew. We did a lot together. It’s crazy how you were also celebrated on Grammy night too—because music is life, and life is music… and you know we lived it.

You had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever known.

Today we laid Calvin to rest.
What many people don’t know is that behind the scenes, we’ve been building an amazing product together—one that I know will carry his legacy forward in powerful ways.

Calvin was one of the smartest people I ever knew. He understood trading on a level most people could only dream of, and he even created an algorithm so strong that Charles Schwab wanted it. But instead of giving it away, we chose to build something of our own. That’s the kind of visionary he was.

A true genius has left the building, and I was blessed to know him.

The loss of #DavidSiegel the owner of @westgatevegas is sad he was the most amazing man. He always supported my business. The best event we had was the @motownrecords relaunch party which he let me take over the top floors for one of my clients. At his funeral listening to all the success he had plus the times when he lost it all. It was so inspiring to hear from his family his story of his life. I want to thank everyone who reached out to me through social media or personal. It was a different birthday laying one of my childhood besties to rest 2 days before. It was a low and a high type of week. Makes you reflect on life and how you live it! Please take the time to hang with people you love because time waits for no one. I am in disbelief this has been my best friend since I was 3 years old, plus my neighbor. We have never argued or disrespected each other plus we held each other on our morals and values. Checked each other when we try to go astray. Loved God to the fullest that’s why we loved unconditionally with no judgment. To be blessed to experience that it is a blessing. This was a hard death for me, my family, our town, our friends, and I know her family is hurting. Audra was the matriarch of her family like me once our dad’s died we took over the responsibility of the family. She was the most beautiful person in and out. It’s hard to find souls like her and I will cherish every conversation, moment, advice, and just love I got from her. Words don’t express how much I loved you!! I just lost two of my best friends now I lost my best friend but my soul sister. Love you and I miss you sooo!! You fought a amazing fight and showed how strong you really were but God wanted you home. Love you soul sista ❤️❤️❤️

The viewing will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A reception will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
