welcomes Christoffer Berg (Hird), together with Bryan Lambert & Robin FX, at Ivan's Pilsnerbar, Gothenburg.

Hird
Christoffer Berg has run his deep house alias Hird since the late 1990s, close to three decades of warm, jazz inflected house drawing on Detroit beatdown, UK trip-hop and the Svek lineage of Scandinavian house. Hird's latest release, "Moving Forward Backwards," came out earlier this year, including a recent remix by Alexi Delano aka ADNY (SVEK).

Beyond Hird, Christoffer is one of Sweden's most respected studio hands, with production and mixing credits including The Knife, Fever Ray, Depeche Mode, Cut Copy and Little Dragon. When not in the studio, he runs LoveWithinSound, a DIY hi-fi sound system project built in the spirit of David Mancuso's Loft ethos, and is part of Gothenburg's Pluto Station collective alongside Robin FX.

Bryan Lambert
Bryan's love for the dance floor was formed as a teenager in the eclectic music scene and nightlife of Austin, Texas. His style is rooted in the experimentation and creativity of the 70s and 80s, the optimism and messages of unity from the golden era of the late 80s and early 90s, and stays open and expanding to new sounds. Here in Göteborg, Bryan helps host events with Christoffer's LoveWithinSound and Robin's Tvåstegsprogrammet, and is a regular musical host at Gurras.

Robin FX
A multidisciplinary romantic at heart, Robin founded the Pluto Station collective in Gothenburg in 2021, after returning home from a decade-long dance music love affair in Berlin. Today he runs Tvåstegsprogrammet: 1) Kom 2) Dansa, a swiftly celebrated public club concept and a slow-burning movement hosted around the city, using the dancefloor to connect Gothenburg audiences with the music, culture, and history of electronic dance music.

Rumor has it Christoffer and Robin are building a new record label together, so expect a little preview of what's to come.

Free entry before 22:00.

Stellar surfer and sound sculpting virtuoso Arkajo is already well known for his work in one-of-a-kind house duo Genius of Time. With his background in jazz composition, live performance and behind the scenes studio work, he is equal parts producer, musician, dj and technological wizard. A keen understanding of sound, rhythm and harmony is evident on his releases as well as in his dj sets, locking your body in rhythm and exploring distant vistas in your mind.

Electronic music producer, Börft Records affiliate and general sound geek M.Jupiter is bringing his machines down from Stockholm for a rare live set.

For more than a decade he’s been putting out raw, hardware-driven electronic music, with releases on Börft and käfTen among others. His sound lives somewhere between heavy machine rhythms, deep and slightly crooked house, acid excursions and whatever else happens once the machines get involved.

This Friday it’s all happening live. Expect heavy kicks, plenty of hardware and probably a curveball or two. taken in Way Out West by @tvastegsprogrammet

The “11-man army” Robin Fx with almost as many secretive projects under his wings as he has records. Kidding, he has a lot more records to be fair.

Multidisciplinary field operative and kind-spirited troublemaker behind Pluto, Tvåstegsprogrammet, various other club initiatives, schemes and unidentified operations around Gothenburg.

Robin started DJing relatively late, shortly after leaving Berlin, where he had just spent the better part of a decade not DJing.. Let’s just say that things have escalated since.

Johan Melin is one of the brains behind his favorite band Fontän, which has shaped a large part of the psychedelic music scene in Gothenburg.

In addition to being a member of Fountain, Johan has a whole repertoire of remixes and productions where he moves freely between musical expressions without compromising on expression. A beat with a steady groove always in focus and ambient debauchery mixed with percussion.

Queer Gothenburg-based artist and producer Ployboy makes electronic music for a world somewhere between the dancefloor and a half-remembered PlayStation game.

Ethereal pads, frantic drum breaks, distorted vocals and skewed samples come together in something dreamy, sweaty and euphoric, with a healthy dose of early 2000s video game nostalgia running through it all.
