An amazing end to our 2021 competitive season for our seniors at 8 National Talent on Sunday! Despite a most extraordinary year, this small hardworking team of 12 represents our school beautifully. They are as polished, professional, and talented as large teams of 100+ from established studios. So proud of each and every one of them!!

@8nationaltalentcompetition highlights include:

1st Place Overall & Costume Award: Senior Trio (Claire, Caroline, and Nicole)

2nd Place Overall: Senior Duet (Annabel and Gaby)

3rd Place Overall: Grace’s Teen Solo

4th Place Overall & Special Judges Award: Nicole’s Senior Solo

6th Place Overall: Maddi’s Teen Solo

8th Place Overall: Senior Small Group (Claire, Calista, Mallory, Alyssa, and Ava)

All the best to our graduating seniors Claire Dacy, Caroline Sloter, and Nicole Markel as they begin their college careers. Congrats to our Teen Soloists competing bright and early today at @8nationaltalentcompetition receiving Platinum and Double Platinum Awards! Grace placed 3rd Overall and Maddi 6th Overall in their divisions - a great way to end their season! So incredibly proud of this amazing team of young ladies. Hard work pays off and they raised the bar at Legacy Dance Championships last night. Their large and small group dances and 5 soloists (Claire, Nicole, Calista, Kira, and Grace) received the prestigious Platinum Award. Special judges awards were presented to Mallory, Annabel, Gaby, our senior trio (Claire, Caroline, and Nicole) and contemporary small group (Claire, Calista, Mallory, Alyssa, and Ava) for their standout performances. Claire, Calista, and Kira received invitations to perform in Legacy’s National opening number. Overall awards will be announced on Sunday after all studios compete! Fantastic job ladies!! Overall Award Update: ✨🏆✨ Senior Large Group- 1st Overall Senior Small Group - 5th Overall (Claire, Calista, Mallory, Alyssa, Ava)

Senior Duet/Trio- 1st (Claire, Nicole, Caroline) & 3rd Overall (Annabel, Gaby)

Congrats TVS Dance Elite Performance Company for earning 1st Place Overall for their large group routine "All I Need" @thunderstruckdance this weekend at Will Rogers!

Additionally, senior lyrical trio "Waves" (Claire Dacy, Nicole Markel, and Caroline Sloter) received 2nd Place Overall and lyrical duet "Muddy Water" (Gaby Kremer and Annabel Purifoy) earned 5th Place Overall in the highly competitive senior duet/trio category.

Grace Gibson's ballet routine "Tarantella" earned 5th Place Overall in the teen solo category and Nicole Markel’s "Beautiful Life" earned 9th Place Overall in the senior solo category.

Our 100 amazing, talented dancers worked incredibly hard all year to prepare for their recital that should have been at Will Rogers Auditorium tonight. Our hearts are broken to miss their annual spring performance. Rest assured dancers, you will not only get through this - you will return stronger and bring more artistry to your craft than you ever imagined.
