i played my last snap of football last night not knowing this a day a ever come upon me 💔

football wasn’t just a sport to me it was a part of who i am.. the ups and downs the practices the games the pain the wins the losses the people i met and all the memories i made along the way. i gave this game everything i had and i would’ve never imagined my last snap would come from an injury.

finding out that i won’t ever be able to play the game i love again hurts in a way i cant even explain. what hurts the most is knowing i’ll never put that helmet on again step between those lines again hear the crowd again or feel that adrenaline before a game again this is something i’m still trying to accept even tho i dont want to accept the truth and reality.

i always thought i’d know when my last game was coming. i thought i’d get to walk off the field knowing it was my last time. instead football made that decision for me.

i’m hurt angry and heartbroken but most of all i’m grateful for EVERYTHING. grateful for every snap every tackle every practice every teammate and every coach i ever had and every person who ever believed in me.

football gave me memories i’ll carry for the rest of my life. this may be the end of my playing days but it’ll never change what this game meant to me.

thank you to my teammates and every coach i ever had and to the people who supported me through it all.
