There’s always 2 sides to every story!

So people keep asking me about the controversy around the AKAs and Trick Daddy performance at the South Atlantic Regionals 🤭!
All I have to say about it…goes back to a familiar philosophy we all know but often forget; “when someone shows you who they are…believe them”!
Trick Daddy “loves the kids”, but his music will definitely have you turning up or clutching your pearls! So to my beloved Sorors…let this be a lesson to choose your friends, men…and entertainment wisely!

When you’re surrounded by 27k Sorors, handling the business of our beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, reconnecting with sisters from across the country, and making memories you’ll never forget... posting in real time just wasn’t happening. 💗💚
I chose to be fully present, and I’m so glad I did 🥰!
So now it’s time for the replay! 🎬✨

For me, it’s never just about the music. It’s about the experience, the memories, and seeing artists who truly love their craft and appreciate their fans.
My very first concert was Aretha Franklin with my mother, and I’ve been hooked ever since. ❤️
I’ve had the privilege of seeing legends like E,W,&F , Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, and Prince perform live. Those experiences remind me not to take opportunities for granted. So if Beyoncé, Jay-Z, New Edition, Maxwell, Jill Scott, or Janet Jackson are coming to town... there’s a good chance I’ll be there! Every concert has been worth it.
Don’t let your age—or anyone else’s opinion about the artist or the price—stop you from enjoying the music you love. Buy the ticket. Sing every word. Dance without apology. Life is meant to be experienced.
