At Cannes, and in life, you quickly learn that true relationships ultimately become your currency! Everyone in life may not love you, and that’s OK! But the people who rock with you, believe in what you’re doing, and truly value what you bring to the table ultimately become YOUR PEOPLE!! So grateful for Cannes for reconnecting me with some I haven’t seen in a hot minute and allowing me to truly grow my circle even wider. Excited for all the acquaintances, existing and new, already collaborating on activations for Cannes 2027 and our global launch in London in a couple months. 🤗 by @twannaharris

When I first transitioned into entrepreneurship, providing color and texture to a white space that so many continued to over look, I was terrified. I no longer got my former salary, no longer had paid sick and vacation time, and those things have significantly impacted me and my family. But I now have FREEDOM…freedom of speech, freedom to enact change where it’s most needed, and most importantly, I have the privilege of honoring a group of women that would easily be featured on the cover of #TIME100 or @60minutes, if they represented something other than their unique lived experiences. My platform will ensure that they are not only honored and celebrated but that their stories will live well beyond their ability to tell them, and as Venture Capital and Private Equity continue to ‘taint the game’, families and their young athletes will have the knowledge, preparation, support and resources to handle all of the predatory and exploitive actions headed their way. Is it fun to go to Cannes, frolicking in triple digit heat indexes, ducking and dodging heat strokes for 5 days straight? Absolutely! But the impact that I know we’re going to make, publishing blueprints and roadmaps of these incredible moms, and partnering with our vetted advisors so younger talent can emulate those models, is the impact that makes my heart smile! So if you’re second-guessing ‘taking the leap’, there’s honestly nothing more rewarding. Bet on yourself…I’d do it again 1000 times over. 🥹 by @twannaharris

I’m so late but for anyone who did Cannes Lions Festival, they’ll tell you that the 18 hour days of tolerating triple digit heat indexes weighs heavier on me each year…but every second is worth it. No stifling of creativity…infinite ideas of how to expand and grow my business and tons of open-minded partners to collaborate with. But this dump is the pre-game…going over and hanging out a few days ahead of time…the calm before the storm! 🫣 by @twannaharris

#leagueofindustrymoms #powerofthegame #morethananathlete This event was the start of something special…an outing that I truly wondered…are we ready for this conversation. One where athletes aren’t just performers and entertainers but one where our kids are valued for their humanity, their ability to influence change, and their power to positively influence minds, hearts and policy. So grateful for the over pouring of support and love, and for the collaboration of so many amazing panelists, who are all tagged on the post. Every year, my birthday overlaps with Art Basel and I have never felt luckier! This week is action packed, vibrant and energetic, which is sooooo aligned with my zodiac energy so it’s a total thing. But the older I get, the more I extend my stay and just chill for a couple of days to transition and ready myself for the new year! Grateful for every invite, private event, dinner, surprise bday celebrations, and spending time with existing tribe and expanding with newer relationships! Late dump but I had an incredible time so I had to post my quick but first-class 72 hour trip to Houston during #AfroTech, visiting with partners, attending private events, and locking in future collaborations. @mayorbmscott @govwesmoore Showing up deep and intentional in Houston with your best and brightest was an enormous flex; continuously enamored with how you all move! Certainly excited about collaborating with your teams on @leagueofindustrymoms having a greater presence and creating more impact in Baltimore…let’s go! 😤 And last but not least…a huge THANK YOU for my lil sis @arionklong for the plug; watching you soar never gets old!
