Everyone meet Josie! Josie is a sweet, fun-loving pup! She is extremely smart, loves to learn, and is down for whatever! She loves people, dogs, and life in general! With continued training, structure, and boundaries I see her as a well-balanced dog who you can take anywhere and do anything with. Honestly, this girl is pretty perfect. I know it’s going to be very hard for me to let her go, but I know her perfect family is out there somewhere, and that is what she deserves. Here’s everything you need to know about Josie:

✅ about 4/5 months old
✅ UTD on vaccines
✅ crate trained
✅ nearly potty trained
✅ learning to walk nicely on leash (& is conditioned to the loop)
✅ loves dogs, people, and life!
✅ a happy-go-lucky, middle of the pack girl
✅ smart as a whip
✅ sweet as pie
✅ cute as can be (seriously, the pics don’t even do her justice)
✅ medium energy (will need about 1 hr of exercise/day)
✅ will continue to thrive with structure, boundaries, and fulfillment

Cheers to 1 year of working at TWB! (A few days late)

I’m thankful every single day for this job, the amazing ladies I work with, this wonderful community, and of course, all of your dogs! I am incredibly lucky to watch/help your dogs learn & grow, but I think what makes me luckiest is that I get to learn & grow from what they teach me every day.

Watching all of your hard work pay off and seeing you all enjoy life with your dogs brings me so much joy - because to me, that’s what having a dog is all about 🤍

Structure, fun, and fulfillment for the pups this weekend!

30 mins at each station

Station 1 - Treadmill to get those steps in working on physical fitness 💪🏼

Station 2 - Place - somewhere to turn off and rest. *Bonus - practicing impulse control holding place while others played.

Station 3 - Leash work & E-collar work - building relationship and pack drive and working on those off leash skills.

Station 4 - Play - rules of play, impulse control, obedience, and of course, FUN!

All dogs were tired and fulfilled after rotating through! This is just a glimpse of some of the fun things we do while boarding with us 🫶🏻 @trainingwithbria by @twb_christina

Dough says you should adopt a @savingwithbria dog, because they are the best and will make you and your family the happiest people on Earth.

1 year with Dough! A year ago, we began our “foster to adopt” trial with Dough, things obviously worked out and we officially adopted him 2 weeks later.

People have often asked me, “when did you know you wanted to adopt Dough?” Well, the very second I saw @trainingwithbria first post him 😂 He is everything I imagined him to be + more, he has fit into our pack seamlessly, and we’ve been able to give him the life I dreamed of giving him.

He comes to work with me everyday, has come on vacations with us, goes on off-leash adventures, and lives a life of freedom and fun.

All of this was achieved through consistent training, implementing structure & boundaries from day 1, clear communication, and firm leadership. We have developed a strong & very loving relationship built on trust & respect. I’ve never felt bad for him because of his past, coddled him, or treated him like a baby. He’s pushed out of his comfort zone often, has always risen to the challenge, and has grown into a more confident dog because of this. He knew next to nothing coming out of the shelter - he was there for almost 4 years. He now walks beautifully on leash, is muzzle trained, e-collar trained, and I can take him mostly anywhere.

It’s not always perfect; we’ve had our hiccups, and we still have plenty of things we need to work on. Training is a lifestyle and it will always continue - but we have fun with it and I can confidently say Dough loves his new life.

Here’s to many more years of fun & freedom, Dough! We love you very much, pal! 🖤

We adopted Dough through @savingwithbria he was one of two of her first ever shelter pulls. SWB helps long-term shelter dogs, local dogs in need, and euth-listed dogs, (and cats, too!). These dogs go into carefully chosen foster homes where they are set up to have the most successful future. Adopting a dog from SWB means that you will have access to a lifetime of training and the most wonderful community of like-minded dog owners.
