Half of my heart, half of who I am, half of my entire being departed earth this morning. Dad, I am so grateful and thankful that god chose me to be your son. As much as I’ve tried to prepare for this day, nothing prepares you for losing a parent. My dad was an absolute legend and accomplished so much, he really lived an incredible life that I’m so thankful to have witnessed. My dad used to walk me to school every morning and we would pray. At the end of every prayer he would finish it with “thank you Heavenly Father for the privilege of being this boys father… Amen” Well… I am so grateful that I was able to pray with him in his final moments and I finished my prayer with “thank you Heavenly Father for the privilege of being this man’s son…Amen” and that’s what it was… truly a privilege. I know you are rejoicing in heaven and I can’t wait until that glorious day when we are reunited with each other. I love you so much, Dad. See you on the other side 🪽 #13 by @tweeezy_e

What started out as a silly parody idea (taking @ellalangleymusic “Choosin’ Texas” and making it a lil Yay Areaaa🤟🏽☹️) turned into a lil Bay Country Hyphy Anthem. I had a lot of fun putting this together and I hope y’all enjoy it! 🤠

I remember growing up I genuinely did not think I was going to live a long life 😅 turning 30 caused me to do a lot of reflecting and I think often times we get so caught up in the here and now, we forget to give ourselves credit for how far we’ve actually come. The progress, the lowest moments that really show us just what we’re capable of. I know Ima fly ass, funny ass bitch, but there’s a lot of trauma that made me this way 🤪😂 NGL I thought it was kinda g@y when people used to say “show the younger you some love” but in reality I think we all need to.
