(Archive) “Twell Regor” Fashion Show & Live Event

Twell Regor’s first fashion show was conceived as more than a conventional runway presentation. Across three live events, the project brought fashion, music, performance, and nightlife together into a shared environment, culminating in a runway presentation and after-party. The event attended by approximately 350 people.

Rather than separating the collection from its audience, the runway unfolded directly through the crowd. Models, photographers, performers, skaters, friends, and guests occupied the same space, allowing the presentation to move between fashion show, performance, live art, and party.

The event established an approach that would continue to shape Twell Regor: fashion as a social experience rather than an isolated object—something worn, photographed, performed, and experienced among people. taken in California, USA by @twellregor.staff

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of my first ideas for Twell Regor, I’ll be hosting another fashion show and live art exhibition focused on cinematographic world building represented by snapshots from reality with a strong focus on my new major fashion development I’ve been cooking up for years. I don’t wanna give a way too much, it’s just a perfect idea I’ve fallen in love with. So, patrons, a decade later, S2 begins with She Blushes, I’m So Happy.

I’ve always been a private person, so instead of looking back through finished work, I compiled fragments—moments from around that period. Before the shows, before the albums, before the plans became reality. Some from a year before the show, some from a year after the show. Not in order, not as a timeline, just pieces of a life that was becoming what it is now.

Theres also a “Twell Regor Fashion Show Video” on my YouTube if you want a more formal perspective of my first major art event. taken in Sacramento, California by @twellregor.staff

Twell Regor’s Signature Dyadic Shoe.

This sneaker is a reconstructed canvas shoe designed with a deliberate split-panel composition. The upper combines two contrasting halves: a soft pale pink canvas on the lateral side and a black canvas panel on the medial side, joined by visible white stitching that emphasizes the asymmetrical construction. White cotton laces run through metal eyelets across both panels, creating a unified closure despite the divided design. The shoe retains a classic rubber toe cap and off-white sole, grounding the experimental upper in the familiar silhouette of a traditional canvas sneaker.

Parchment Collage Jeans (Couture)
Design, Photography, & Editing: @twellregor
Tailoring & Creative Input: @ceowrkshop

You can see the hoodie and sweater from the “Fission Bleu” line used to create this bleu couture piece, just scroll to the right. They will be published on TwellRegor.com if you’d like to purchase.

Here’s the skinny: I wanted to combine my love for graphic design with tailored business oriented garments. These pants are the first product. I designed an entire clothing line called “Fission Bleu” and I’m cutting it all up to attach, cut up, and distort the original pieces so I can dress up in my own designs while also wearing the 1950’s button ups, club collars, pleated slacks, etc. that I love wearing. I wanted to do this and produce at a scale where people could buy lowkey since my first fashion show but it’s impossible. However, the new wave is bespoke clothing and y’all can bet you can’t find my clothing in the mall, high end stores, the thrift, or anywhere else. It’s hand sourced pieces from the 40’s-70’s combined with my secret fashion line.

Thank you to @ceowrkshop for not only making this a reality for me, but for being so kind, friendly, and authentic through the process. Hard to find that in Los Angeles.

(Archive 2024) The Interview with the man of bloodsport Payton Talbott. I loved this interview because of how cool and down to earth of a person @paytontalbott is. One of the coolest people I’ve ever talked to and hung out with. Also extremely generous, I don’t think he let me pay for anything while I was visiting him but at the least in return I cooked him and his best friends my signature burger to which I think everyone gave rave reviews. It was over 4/20 weekend that I took the bus up to Reno, NV and stayed at Payton’s house. Over the weekend we spoke on lots of deep topics and personal topics because I wasn’t so interested in his work in MMA—more so everything that went into it and was behind it. You can read everything that him and I thought was okay to publish on my website in the print section. Link in bio. Note: a lot of conversations I wish I recorded and a lot I wish I could’ve said because I’ve never met someone I felt I had things in common with but was also inspired by—it wasn’t his rising success that inspired me but how unchanging he was during it. He’s motivated by passion and expression not fame or money which is refreshing in a person saturated by all that comes with being a public figure in any industry. I was excited to share as much as possible about what I saw and heard but some things I just felt should stay with him and his privacy. Anyways. There’s a formal and informal (gonzo) part of the interview all in one read. I’ve been looking for my next interview but it’s hard to beat this man in terms of being an interesting person. Biggest thing that threw me off is how intelligent and multitalented he is. He’s not just a fighter, he’s much more than that. I hope in the future he’s seen for all of that and not pigeonholed into MMA because for one thing he’s musically inclined and you can go find his music on the interwebs.

Note on the slides: it’s in chronological order from me doing research watching one of his fights at my friend @sweetermemory house to us going to a disco to me writing the interview at my desk once I was back home. taken in Reno, Nevada by @twellregor.staff

(Archive 2021) Interview No. One — I did with Lazaro Rodriguez, better known as Bruteman. He was a kind of mentor (by mentor I mean I’d annoy him with as many questions as I had cause I was so passionate and eager and I’ve always enjoyed his work & he was always kind enough to respond thoughtfully) to me growing up as a teenager and being interested in art so him giving me 3-4 hours of conversation in his apartment was a luxury for me. Really enjoyed picking his brain. You can read the interview on my website in the “Print” section. Link in bio. taken in Hollywood by @twellregor.staff
