NYQUIST-SHANNON SAMPLING THEOREM 📚

A digital system (like our DAW) must sample at more than twice our maximum hearing capacity, which is roughly 20kHz.
That’s why a sample rate of 44.1 kHz is sufficient for capturing the conventional human hearing range.

The higher the sample rate, the wider the frequency range you can capture, but the more your PC or laptop has to process.
44.1 kHz is traditionally used for CD audio and music, while 48 kHz is standard for video and film work.

Who disagrees?

If your two-note basslines are getting boring, just make them move a little bit.

There was a point where my tracks sounded flat no matter what I did.
Better plugins. Better samples. Same result.
The problem wasn't the sounds.
It was the space around them.
