Twenty Eight Events is now 8 years old 🥹

I remember every detail about starting the company like it was yesterday. After designing my own website, I made it live while on vacation with my best friend and was SO nervous to press publish.

I had quit my job prior without having any money saved or a back up plan to get a real job, all I knew is that I wanted to plan events so I went all in on this dream.

Now, 8 years later, this dream of mine has made it without any marketing/ads, SEO, reviews, etc. 🤯

We’ve survived 2020, slow months, and only having a handful of clients.

All because people believed in us and continue to do so. Having a business for 8 years solely from word of mouth?

I’ll never take that for granted. 🙏🏽

We planned Triple Whale’s annual event, The Whalies, for them this year (our 3rd time 🥹) and this one was the best one yet!

Our goal with our returning clients is to always level up and this year was no different.

We took over the grounds @rollinggreens in DTLA with two stages, a food and beverage garden, a sponsor hall, a merch room, a happy hour, and an epic BMX show.

The branding was out of this world and I couldn’t have brought the vision to life without @liteevents 👏🏽

And to all the vendors who consistently show up for our clients, we couldn’t do it without you!

I'm BAAAACK with more photos (I know you've been waiting 😂).

Today, we're taking you to New York City in early May. The most perfect spring day and the not-so-perfect venue mishaps (hey, it happens and we pivot!).

Nonetheless, the event happened and was a success! The highlight was The Charm Bar, though, no joke. 😆

🎉 Fun fact: We're currently planning the Gorgias Connect tour for Gorgias, and NY was the first stop on the tour. 🏙️ We just did LA last week, and the rest of this month we have London and Paris.

I am SO behind with posting event photos. 😅 We've been so busy with events (which is a great thing) that I haven't found the time to post photos.

We have a wee bit of a break (3 weeks before Europe & Vegas events), so today I'm coming at ya with this event we did last month in LA for 8 Figure Agency.

This year at Shoptalk we had two booths we designed and set up and boy oh boy was it a wild day. 😅

Happy to report the booths were perfect by doors open and clients were happy! 🎉

Last month we planned an intimate event for Lionsgate Entertainment at their HQ in Santa Monica ✨

The event centered around inclusivity and was the perfect blend of networking, presentations, and yummy f&b (of course).

We’re working on the annual event for Triple Whale, The Whalies, and this one is going to be the best yet. 🎉 We’ve secured a venue with 2 different buildings on it, an outdoor tent, and a garden with a pizza oven. 🍕

Their theme is the Speed of Light and do we have some magic in store for this theme.

This week we were in Palm Springs at #etailwest seeing our vision come to life 🌴🌊

We love creating booths for companies because it takes our creativity we use at our large events and challenges us to stand out amongst hundreds of booths at conferences.

For this event, with the theme being a beach club, I knew right away we had to incorporate water and what better way to do that then having the floor be the ocean?? 🌊

Absolutely obsessed with how this came out and grateful for @liteevents always being able to execute these wild ideas. 🫶 taken in JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa by @twentyeightevents

Fun fact: I started planning events while living in London and traveling around Europe in 2014. It was an absolute dream to plan events there. Being only 24 years old, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be living the life I was living.

Since then, I’ve planned over 300 events worldwide.

To this day, we still plan events internationally (like this one in Cyprus) and I still feel the same way I felt all those years ago, how lucky I am to be living the life I’m living. ❤️

We’re forever grateful to all of our clients who trust us with their events and if you’re looking for someone to plan your next event internationally but think you need someone local to that place, think again. 😏

I’m a BIG foodie and that reflects in the events we put on. 🍽️

I never want food at an event to be subpar because as a planner who has been a guest at events, what you eat can keep a person talking (in a bad way or a good way), so I always ensure the food is 5 stars. ⭐️
