Thank you to @fwmoa for making my museum solo a reality. It was bittersweet picking up yesterday, but the notes you guys left, the paintings that went home with people, the groups who drove across state lines to see the show with enthusiasm have warmed my heart more than you can ever know. Bucket list check. ❤️ love you guys! #Twill #twillartist #artwork #artofinstagram #artoftheday #artcollector #artstudio #originalartwork #originalartforsale #artwatchers #artlife #artcurator #artconsultant #artadvisory #marylandart #marylandartist #youdoyou #markmaking #softpastel #softpastels #softpastelart #tarawill #twillartist #pastelart #pastelartist #terryludwigpastels #unisonpastels #unisoncolour #jerrysartarama #lamaisondupastel by @twillartist

Excited to have been invited to paint in Sedona for the Plein air event. THURSDAY I’ll be back in Arizona (one of my favorite places) to dive into the landscape. I feel rusty but excited❤️ #Twillartist #softpastels #softpastelart #pastelart #pastelartist by @twillartist

If you struggle with value, try taking your painting into whatever program you use for editing, and remove the saturation. This will give you an accurate idea of where your values are off. #Twillartist #softpastels #softpastelart #pastelart #pastelartist by @twillartist

Charles and I were just talking about how when sunflowers die off they look tired. I called this one “Sentinels” because they look like they’re guarding the field despite the snow❤️ #Twillartist #softpastels #softpastelart #pastelart #pastelartist by @twillartist

In pastel, sometimes we need hands as light as feathers. Other times we need the roughness to increase impact. This Saturday, we are UNDER PRESSURE— we will unpack when we need finesse vs energy. So we can pull out the variety of pressure we need to get the job done. Join me! Link in bio. #Twillartist #softpastels #softpastelart #pastelart #pastelartist by @twillartist

I was in such a hurry to get this in that I forgot to take a pic as I ran it up the hill to meet the time deadline! Finally got around to getting a pic of it outside of its frame. Ellicott City is a gem of a town with interesting compositions everywhere you turn. #Twillartist #softpastels #softpastelart #pastelart #pastelartist by @twillartist
