POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I could write a very long caption explaining this one, but I don't think I will.

It's one of my favorite pieces. It has layers that are difficult to explain properly without context, and there are emotions here that make me smile every single time I look at it. Which is probably why I haven't been in any hurry to post it. I'll likely pin it so it stays near the top for a while—I don't think I'm ready for it to be displaced just yet. 🤍

I don't think Yin Yu is really listening all that much. Not because he doesn't care, but because after everything that's happened, after everything he's endured, he's simply... tired.

Quan Yizhen doesn't seem to mind.

He keeps talking anyway. Not to fill the silence. He isn't trying to cheer his shixiong up, he isn't demanding engagement, and he isn't expecting him to be "back to normal." He's just being himself, creating a space where Yin Yu can exist exactly as he is.

That's a very specific kind of comfort.

I wanted to observe this moment through the filter of Yin Yu's state of mind, rather than being in it with them.

Swipe to see the original digital sketch, where the more humorous side of the scene first came to life. 🤭

(And yes... I painted my nails to match the traditional. 💅)

My OC loves. 🩶

Hizuki comes home to find Shouma already settled on the engawa, freshly showered, wrapped in his hoodie and patching up the aftermath of a mission. Tea is poured, feet find the pond and neither feels the need to say much. 🥰

🇮🇹 Celebrating Italy's National Day with a little travel memory from Livorno. ☀️🌊

A seaside walk, endless blue skies, and one very unfortunate discovery: Masa's sandals were no match for the heat radiating off the terrace stones. Apparently the solution to footwear failure is a piggyback ride and a boyfriend who is entirely too pleased about the situation.💙

No dignity was recovered, but at least they made it back with all toes intact. 😆

MINI WEEKEND COLLAB “A Perfect Match”

You know that perfect kind of day?
Your favourite book, a cozy spot, a cup of tea…
And the perfect bookmark to go with it 🤭

In the delivering order:

@twindarkart …Who can digest easily a self-help book? Yagi-kun (Honya no Yagi-kun) cannot stop himself from tasting the new books; luckily, Ookami-san is there to (scold) support him 💙 This scene is so cute, I would love to get a half-bitten bookmark anytime!

@twindarkart is not done with Yin Yu, and neither is Quan Yizhen (Heaven Official’s Blessing). This time? A perfectly innocent question about the Kamasutra, first thing in the morning! Poor Yin Yu couldn’t even finish his coffee! (And Hua Cheng is worse than Pei Ming 😂)

@fiza.draws96 is giving us a very cool Andrew Young (Nerd Project) reading a cute romance book - what’s better than young royals in love, to relax? 🤭

@hououin.iro Senku and Gen (Dr Stone) are cuddling while Senku reads his favourite children’s book, “George and the Big Bang”. This scene is so sweet, and the starry bookmark is a perfect match for our Senku! 💙

@sans_feu_ni_lieu What’s better than a cool novel such as “The Reluctant Dragon”, animated with alchemy? Ed (Full Metal Alchemist) is the best big brother and Al is completely taken by the story.

@sans_feu_ni_lieu Mathias must truly be in love with Marc (The Evangelists series by Fred Vargas) to agree to read together “Il Nome della Rosa”, a book set in the Middle Ages! Marc appreciates - but can’t focus that much on the murder mystery when he’s so distracted by the historical inaccuracies 😅

I imagine negotiations with Little Apple are rarely brief. 🤭🤭 An older piece I painted for the Year of the Horse that somehow never made it onto my feed. I believe the original has already been claimed by a bestie in Spain... 🤔😆 And yes—Little Apple is painted as the spotted donkey described in the novels. 🙌🏻

MINI WEEKEND COLLAB: “We’re All Mad Here”

This #miniWEcollab was inspired by the impossible worlds of M.C. Escher. It’s always amazing to see how the same prompt can lead to such different interpretations!

In delivery order:

@twindarkart took the prompt and decided that Escher’s infinite stairs would perfectly fit Sasuke (Naruto), spiralling down into his inescapable future. I love how you used the architecture to draw emotions, and the loose watercolour just adds to the nightmarish atmosphere.

@hououin.iro played with warped stairways and mysterious mirrors: Hange (Attack on Titan) looks into the glass and Kurisu (Steins;Gate) is staring back from the other side. Between two impossible worlds, which is the real one? Love how you played with the perspective and colours, and that kitty may not be the bonus but is the cutest of them all!

@sans_feu_ni_lieu went to Ghost City, and invited Escher himself as the architect of Paradise Manor - I think that Escher would have loved the idea of a dice roll as a substitute for keys, and Hua Cheng (Heaven Official’s Blessing) seems the type to appreciate impossible buildings. Poor Yin Yu is clearly living with a constant headache, but that’s a character trait at this point 🤷‍♀️

An older idea that's been hanging around in my sketchbook archives for a while.

I've always wanted to paint more goldfish or koi, and this overhead composition felt like the perfect excuse. Koi are bred to be admired from above, so I imagined a quiet summer moment among lotus blossoms while curious koi weave through the ripples, with Masa's blond hair echoing the shape of the flowers.

A peaceful little scene. 🪷🐟

This is one of my watercolor paintings from 2025 that, aside from sharing with a few close friends, I mostly kept to myself, hanging quietly on my wall.

Those who know me well know I can be a bit of a dragon when it comes to my artwork... 😅 I sometimes hold onto certain pieces for months before I feel ready to share them.

But today felt like the right day to finally post this one, because it's my friend Ella's ( @ella.g.art ) birthday. She actually saw it when I first painted it, but it still feels fitting to let it make its way into the world today.

Happy birthday to my fellow Gaara lover! I hope your day is filled with family, baking, video games, and all the good things. Much love, dear! 🫶🏻🧁🍪🥠

A watercolor from the archives.

This one was painted around Chinese New Year during a period when I wasn't posting much online, so it never quite found its way onto my feed.

I still love the quiet feeling of it though... Spring grass, wildflowers, and two people who finally found their way back to one another. 🌸🐎

It was originally inspired by the hunt scene from the novels, but somewhere along the way the painting settled into something a little more intimate.

Ahahaha well… I fear this may be one of those paintings that raises more questions than it answers. 🤭🦈

Yin Yu cannot escape Quan Yizhen’s pursuit. Not even underwater. 😆

Huge thanks to @verdigrisdye for hosting such a fun collab theme! And thank you to all my collab partners for sharing such gorgeous works alongside me. 💖
