House of the Rising Sun music video is out now and we hope you enjoy it!

Did you guys know that the desert actually gets very cold because we did not 🥶

It was all worth it though, the video came out beautifully and we hope you think so as well!

Iqaluit!!!

We’re back at our favourite hotel Aqsarniit — and hitting the stage tomorrow night June 14th!

We’ve played a lot of shows across the country, but this place always feels like home. (Maybe it’s the food… okay, it’s definitely the food and the people)

If you haven’t tried the restaurant here yet — do it. Life-changing, no joke.

Doors open at 7PM | $20 at the door | Full bar service

We’ll bring the songs — you bring the good vibes.

Let’s make memories, share some laughs, and dance like nobody’s watching (or like we don’t have early flights).

Can’t wait to see your beautiful faces, Iqaluit! by @twinflamesband

On our most recent album, “Hugging the Cactus” we had to include this powerful anthem by Wyndreth Berginsdottir, but we added our own twist on it to represent the Indigenous male voice.

The full performance is on our YouTube Channel

We joined the Canadian Forces Military Band to perform a cover of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen last year and it was an incredible honour.

Full performance is on our YouTube channel - be honest, how many of you only know this song because it was in Shrek?

Savage Daughter by Wyndreth Berginsdottir is such a beautiful, powerful anthem we had to include it on our most recent album “Hugging the Cactus”. Covering it live at the record centre in Ottawa, one of Ottawa’s best spots was really special!

The flute that Chelsey plays is a traditional Indigenous spirit flute. Its sound is soothing, like a breath of fresh air for the soul.
“It brings me peace every time I play and I hope it offers the same calm and healing to those who listen.”

We won Group of the Year 🏆

Last night was a beautiful moment. Being honoured with an award always fills us with deep gratitude—but it also brings a wave of complex emotions.

Winning is a greenlight to keep going, keep pushing, and keep breaking down barriers—for ourselves, and for those rising behind us. It's recognition for the countless hours on the road, the sleepless nights, the financial gamble of choosing a life in music, and the heart-wrenching sacrifices we make as parents—being away from our children to chase a dream we hope will one day inspire them.

We’ve been on both sides. We’ve sat in the audience with hopeful hearts and left with quiet disappointment. And that’s why, even in our joy, we hold space for every artist whose name doesn’t get called. We see you. We’ve been you.

The truth is, just choosing to pursue music—especially in times like these—is already a win. It takes courage, heart, and a kind of passion that can’t be measured by accolades. Every nominee, every performer, every dreamer deserves to be celebrated. We celebrate you!

We’re so proud to be recognized by the Capital Music Awards and remain humbled by every award platform that has helped lift us up along the way.

We still dream of one day standing on stages like the Junos and the Grammys—and until then, we’ll keep creating, keep showing up for those who choose to acknowledge us, and keep cheering for others, too.

There’s room for all of us to shine. ✨

We won Group of the Year at the Capital Music Awards! 🏆

We’re beyond grateful for this honour—especially here in our hometown. Being full-time musicians is a dream we never take for granted.

Thank you to our families who support us endlessly, our fans who lift us up with every show, and our incredible agents who keep us moving forward. And to all the venues and presenters who continue to believe in what we do—thank you for giving our music a home.

This award belongs to all of you. 💛

Thanks Scott Doubt Photography for capturing this moment.
