I love the song “When I Think About The Lord”. I think about all the times that he has saved me, raised me, healed me, picked me up and placed my feet on solid ground! How he has protected my family and friends! I thank God for being cancer free for 10 years as of last month! 🩷 It makes me want to shout Hallelujah, thank you Jesus 🎶 for another birthday and for another year that was not promised! Lord, I’m grateful!

Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate the life of our beloved Uncle, Billy Ray Whitehurst. He was my mother, Tonette Caldwell’s only brother and our favorite uncle. We will deeply miss him, but we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. His homegoing service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00am at Trinity Baptist Church where he faithfully served as a Deacon. He will lie in state for visitation at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:00am to 7:00pm. We Love you Uncle Billy Ray!
