officially, best 3B in the league BUT, he’s one of the best catchers in Japan. He throws out 50%+ of runners and team ERA is cut in half when he catches. #baseballlife #npb #vcubaseball #baseball #japanesebaseball taken in Osaka, Japan by @twinjasbaseball

Casey goes @josecanseco on fireworks night in Osaka! Triples and quadruples! A convo 15 years ago in Balboa Park was recalled, stance changes made, and thank you to Jose!

The art of base running and sliding to avoid a tag is absolutely lost art… Unless of course you’re this guy.

Game over on a rail gun from Casey! The last 2 games he’s caught - 1 run in 19 innings. Catchers make a difference. #baseballlife #baseballlifestyle #vcubaseball #npb #japanesebaseball taken in Osaka, Japan by @twinjasbaseball

Adjustment worked. Finally gapped this guy. He’s an excellent pitcher but it was time.

Congrats Cato on the “Moonlight Graham” phase of your baseball career! You left it all out on the field and in the classroom as well. We’re all so proud of you! Now, let’s finish #1 in your class! 🤣 ❤️ taken in Yokohama, Japan by @twinjasbaseball

Halfway to 3rd, the coach signals him around. This is where the Japanese style of conditioning kicks in and separates them from the rest of the baseball countries. The constant running and conditioning enabled him to hit speed he’s never hit before on the dirt base paths, and that was the difference between winning this game or going into extra innings, tied to the bottom of the ninth.

For the love of the game. 20,000 hours of reps and prayers later…to the country who respects baseball in it’s purest form.
Until you see it, you won’t believe it.
