God’s grace has shown me what it’s like, he has shown us all.

This is my final album of this phase of my life. Not the last cherrri album, but the last time i make something like this, fittingly it is a culmination of every sound that came before it, and a culmination of my fears, and every complicated feeling I have about my own trauma, as well as the system that endores violence towards victims. We see downplaying victims in order to protect perpetrators because we were taught to never trust those who are speaking out against their experiences with violence, abuse, and assault. This story is not my life, but rather a commentary on it. That no matter how much you can feel drowned in your grief, for either losing a loved one or completely losing yourself, You have to find the strength within you to get better. Your friends want to see it, and so does everyone around you, you deserve happiness even in the worst of life is coming full circle once again.
It’s hard to trust your gut, its even harder to not blame yourself, and in retribution for your own self loathing , you will find yourself in a never ending intersection of of death, despair, and hope that this can get better.
And it will, maybe not forever, maybe not for a long time, but you have to do more than recognize your flaws, you have to accept them in order to heal from it.
i believe in you, for a long time i couldn’t believe my own experiences. being told by so many people that you’re trauma is not valid cus its nuanced doesn’t help.
you are valid, no matter what you’re going through, its okay to remain a sense of self acceptance.
Only hardest part is keeping going in a world that doesn’t accept, but it’s worth it to fight against that by being able to recognize yourself as someone who is constantly trying to change, something that is extremely hard for most people.
it takes time, and i believe in you.
