The mechanical body acts as a sensor for her environment. A long-term witness of the converging waters, reflecting the seagulls that circle above. by @twinklecatcow

A few stills from the latest @enchantedfamilyofficial performance at the @bristol.experimental.puppet festival. Thanks for having us, and thanks mum for recording. If anyone else has any footage or pictures of us from the night please reach out to @salviatrix i.e. the senior surgeon.

The show also featured @twinklecatcow as the junior surgeon, @_a_big_snail_ as the grand leech, @apri_goat as the nurse, @yessselectric as the tooth fairy, Zayt as death and @iamlachiva as the bard.

spinning into spring 🌺🌻🌹🌷🪻this sunday led by @twinklecatcow & @lucyblujones

combining contemporary technique and freestyle hiphop structure, this class is all about play, experimentation and expression.

we’ll focus on basic contemporary fundamentals, teaching you floorwork, turns and jumps with a mix of freestyle hiphop. to end the session, we’ll combine all of these movements to create a lil piece of choreo to take home with you.

dress in what feels best to you and don’t be afraid to add a layer or two for your spin! (fabrics and scarves will be provided).

we’ll see you spinning on the dance floor💫💫💫

A truly ethereal opening, a dance of two other worldly bodies bathed in warm light and heartfelt rhythms.

For this year’s final edition of ōPSIS Ayama & Lucy Jones will be presenting a new work examining the bounds of flesh.

‘Untitled’ (fleshlings)

A dance performance exploring the materiality of organic flesh both human and other through costume and movement. This performance seeks to investigate and rock and the bounds of flesh. It looks at how we are all born of flesh, embody flesh and are able to create it: from human reproduction to scientific labs to textiles studios.

‘Welcome to La Matriz’ (the womb ), 2025
2.50m h x 3m w x 8m L
So I made a womb !

My practice delves into and promotes reproductive health, politics and education. Aware and angered by the current state of the overabundant traumatic culture of obstetric violence and birthing practices in the west. I wanted to create something that looks to a utopia and beauty of what birthing culture could be in the West- Coming back to ceremony and community .

The installation ; comprised of textiles, sound, projection, the smaller installation : ‘Alter to my momma and hers and her momma and mine and ours’-2025 as well as fetus and placenta pillows (that are now on sale, dm to enquire)
Is a world, in part to house the performance: ‘Creando La Luz: A Ceremonial Birth Performance’ . ( which will be posted later)

As well as a space that invited people to chill and rest and connect in safety and comfort. A space that unites us all.
