senior ditch day pretty cool i suppose went to la and took the metro. saw little tokyo for the first time pretty fun, saw art and stuff at the broad. saw this really cool record store in an upstairs unit. i cant wait to be done with this damn school i have so many exciting things to do when it’s done. i love my friends. music is good all the time. by @twintail_lovin

Kaizen 2/3ish

My first Dayton trip and it was definitely the longest week of my life, but also will be the most memorable. I feel like this last push of the season was when I felt closest to everyone. The late yaps in hotel rooms made me feel bad about not being more socially open earlier in the season. 😭I feel like individually and as a player this one week has allowed me to grow which couldn't be done without the other members and staff there around me. I love you all. To anyone in the other sections of the ensemble, I regret not socializing with you too. I bet some of you are amazing so mb.

I can't believe how much of an experience Dayton was. Getting preliminated sucks but was a blessing in disguise. Getting to watch shows and lots of some of the best players in the activity has give me a whole new sense of admiration and inspiration to get better and reach for the top. Meeting some fellow Timpanist gave me another sense of camaraderie I've never felt before and made me felt pride in the instrument I choose now. I hope to be back at UD being a performer throughout all 3 days rather than a spectator. by @twintail_lovin

Kaizen 1/3ish

Being apart of a front ensemble was a totally different experience, but one just as valuable to me. Being around such a diverse group of personalities was amazing. Giving me a whole new appreciation of a section of an ensemble
that I never considered myself apart of until now. There has definitely been some things in my life that sucked during the season but Kaizen has been a great motivator and distraction to help me keep pushing forward

This whole idea of Kaizen being constant improvement really resonates with my values as I strive to be better and better at what I am now trying to pursue. Though were some downsides considering how fresh the organization was, it allowed me experience something completely new with amazing people.
