Aloe Challenge Day 1. Let’s make Aloe powder

Aloe Vera powder:
1: Harvest Fresh Aloe Vera
Use mature aloe vera leaves Two. Cut thin slices

2: Drain the Aloin (Important)
Stand the leaves upright in a bowl for 30 min
This allows the yellow sap (aloin/latex) to drain out, and rinse

3: Extract the Aloe Gel
Peel off the green outer skin.
Scoop out the clear inner gel using a spoon.
Rinse gel pieces gently

4: Dry the Aloe Gel
Choose one drying method:
Dehydrator: Dry at 115–125 for 8–12 hours
Oven: Lowest temperature, door slightly open
Sun drying: Thin slices, covered with mesh, several days
Gel should be fully dry and brittle before moving on.

5: Grind into Powder
Break dried aloe into small pieces.
Grind using a blender, spice grinder.
