BE PROACTIVE, NOT REACTIVE.

We hear it all the time after someone is gone.

“I wish I’d known.”
“I wish they’d said something.”
“I wish I’d checked in.”

But did you?

Where are you when someone actually needs you?

When they go quiet.
When they stop turning up.
When they don’t seem themselves.
When the messages get shorter.
When something just doesn’t feel right.

Are we all too busy until it’s too late?

Supporting someone isn’t just sharing a post after tragedy happens. It’s picking up the phone before it happens. It’s sending the message. It’s knocking on the door. It’s asking “Are you actually OK?” and being prepared to listen to the answer.

You don’t need to be a professional to give a shit.

You just need to be there.

At Twisted, men’s mental health is something we will continue to talk about, support and raise money for.

If you can donate, even a small amount, our Twisted fundraiser for Mind is here:

https://www.justgiving.com/page/twistedandmind?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL

And if you can’t donate, check in on someone today.

Not tomorrow.
Not when you get five minutes.
Not when it’s too late.

BE PROACTIVE. NOT REACTIVE. ❤️
