✨ A very special surprise for a very special big sister… 💕🎈

The excitement was REAL as she waited to discover whether she was going to welcome a baby brother or baby sister. 🥹💗💙

There’s something so beautiful about growing your family, because another baby means another little person to love, another bond to build and so many more memories to make together. 🤍

And when siblings are close in age, there’s something extra special about watching them grow, laugh, play and create those little core memories that stay with them for life. ✨

What a beautiful way to include the whole family in celebrating the newest little arrival. 👶🏽🎈

Congratulations to this beautiful family; your newest little love is already so loved! 💕

Sometimes the brief is simply: “I’m not very good at this sort of thing… but it’s really important to me. Can you help?” 💜

And honestly, 👀😏those are some of our favourite briefs.

Because a celebration is about so much more than the actual day being celebrated. It’s about the years it took to get there.

The nights after long days. The mornings that started all over again. The tiny wins, the big challenges, the worrying, the learning, the laughing, the second-guessing and the compound effort of showing up, day after day, doing the very best you can.

It’s about bringing up these wonderfully unique little humans while being absolutely bombarded with opinions, advice, expectations and statistics about what they should be doing; and somehow finding your own way through it all.

So when someone says, “I want to get something sentimental for her,” We don't just hear balloons.

We hear: “She means the world to me. Help me make her feel that.” 🥹

And that’s exactly what this Sweet 16 balloon display was about. 💜💛❤️💚

A wild, colourful, energetic 16th birthday balloon sculpture, packed with balloon flowers, butterflies, hoops and organic details, created to be every bit as unique as the young lady it was celebrating.

And if you're thinking, “I love the idea, but I'm not great at the baking/cake/party stuff either…”🗣️We've got you there too! 😂🍫

Our Instant Event Packages, including Balloons & Brownies, are designed for exactly this. Beautiful balloon decorations & delicious brownie tray bakes, all wrapped up into one easy celebration package.

Because sometimes you don't need to be the person who knows how to do it all.

You just need to be the person who cares enough to say:

“This is important to me. Can you help?” 🎈💜

And yes. We can. ✨

A Mother’s Prayer for the New Academic Year 🤍

Heavenly Father, from my heart to Your ears, I pray as my children return to school in this new academic year.

I pray that they build character that desires to learn and grow and that they interact with others in a kind, caring and respectful manner.

I pray that our children leave home and arrive safely at the school gates and return home again in one piece every day. Give them the strength to handle any daily pressures that may come their way. Enable their teachers to communicate effectively and to recognise the individual needs of every child.

I pray that their classrooms promote a harmonious culture where support is freely given, kindness is encouraged and good behaviour is nurtured by everyone.

Let our children know that they are blessed and highly favoured. May they reflect Your glory through their words, actions and behaviour and may they be a blessing to everyone they come into contact with.

May this new school year bring forth good grades and positive achievements. May any learning difficulties be identified and supported appropriately. No child should be labelled as ‘disruptive’, but instead embraced, understood, supported and cared for.

I pray that the teachers and all school staff are given the mental capacity, patience, strength and wisdom to deliver the best standards day in and day out. May they also receive the support they need to pour into our children.

Cover our children as they learn, grow and navigate this new academic year. Protect their minds, their hearts and their journeys. Guide their friendships, their choices and their experiences.

May they flourish, may they prosper and may they always remember who they are and whose they are.

This is a mother’s prayer.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 🙏🏾

This time last week, I was celebrating
5 whole years of loving my Butterbean!💖🥹

We went away for a little birthday trip, but when the weekend came, we decided to throw her a Michael Jackson “She-Hee’s 5” themed birthday party— because if you know my daughter, you KNOW she is the ultimate Michael Jackson fan! 🕺🏾👑✨

When I say the journey to 5 years has had SO many twists and turns, I truly mean it. But through it all, this girl has remained stuck to me like glue, showing me what God’s love in human form looks like. 💖💖💖

I know true love because I have this little girl in my life. 😭😭😭

My prayer for you, Butterbean, is that your heart remains pure and protected from the perils of life, but never hardened or scarred by them. May you continue to be a Leader and never a follower. May your days be long upon this earth, and may God continue to guide MY path so that I can give you every tool, lesson and piece of wisdom you need to thrive in this life. 🙏🏾💜💖

And then there was the PARTY! 😂

My role over the weekend was Host + Event Stylist + Chef + Mum + Everything Else Apparently!😂😭 So, I’m sure I was juggling about 15 other hats too, which meant the content creation side of things definitely didn’t shine as much as I would have liked.

But nevertheless… ENJOY THE PHOTO DUMP! 📸✨

From the Michael Jackson themed party decor, the statement birthday backdrop and the organic balloon garland, silver disco-inspired styling and all the little details that brought the theme together....... this one was definitely a labour of love. 🪩🎈🖤💜

I honestly can’t believe SHE-HEE’S 5!!!!!!!! 🫣😭💖

Here’s to 5 years of my beautiful, funny, loving, determined little girl. 🥂✨

Happy 5th Birthday, Butterbean. Mummy loves you wayyyyy more than you love MJ 💖

🎈 Balloon Dog in the Making 🎈

The classic balloon dog is where so many balloon twisting journeys begin, but it's also one of the most recognisable pieces of balloon art in the world.

From children's parties and corporate events to large-scale installations, balloon twisting is all about transforming a simple balloon into something memorable. It's a skill that combines creativity, technique, and years of practice.

Alongside balloon twisting, I create bespoke balloon displays, freestanding garlands, event décor and trade fabrication pieces for brands, venues, and events looking to make an impact.

Ever wondered how a balloon dog is made? If you're interested in learning balloon twisting, balloon animals and the fundamental skills behind balloon art, head over to my educational community page @twistedorgniix_community where I share tutorials, techniques, and beginner-friendly lessons.

What's the first balloon animal you ever learned to make?
